The treatment part left unpleasant memories. I spent 2 weeks in my home country making a resort map that no one even looked at. The doctor on duty wrote down everything in a card from my words and prescribed a drinking regime and procedures. On the fourth day of my stay I saw the attending physician. He was in a bad mood. In response to my complaints of back pain, he said that the mattress was to blame and prescribed pills. Replaced some of the procedures. They didn’t take any tests, they didn’t ask me about my health anymore. Although I think that in a health establishment it would not be superfluous. The procedure was scheduled for Saturday at 2:50 p.m., when I arrived, the balneocenter was closed. It would be better to go on an excursion. There is a lot to work on in the healing part.

There were some minor inconveniences in the restaurant, but it’s all normal, there were a lot of customers and not everything was provided on time, and the cleaning of the rooms was not done very well. They were placed in building 3 on the 5th floor, although they were asked to fulfill the conditions. You quickly get used to everything. ... I would like to wish the hotel management to do something about the personal luggage of vacationers. The three buildings are connected by steps, and the contingent of vacationers are mainly elderly people. And one more wish for entertainment events. The hotel is large, but nothing is provided.

The food in the sanatorium is average, it is not bad, but not excellent either. They gave us little fruit, only a few times. Sometimes there were stale food. Packed rations for excursion days are meager; both lunch and dinner are skipped during excursions. We visited your sanatorium for the second time, we liked everything very much, we stayed in room 1322. The service staff was very attentive to all our requests. Bedding was changed frequently and robes were exchanged upon request. We are very pleased that upon arrival we changed our room from the third building on the 5th floor to a room in the first building on the 3rd floor (painful legs and difficulty climbing the numerous stairs). Many thanks to the doctor who observed us, Tatyana Krotova, for the correctly selected procedures, as well as advice and recommendations for further health maintenance. If possible, we will visit more than once.

I didn’t like my doctor Krotova with her familiar tone, calling me by name and “poking”, and I, for a moment, am 56 years old. I came to the sanatorium with my own preference for the choice of procedures: for me, the most important procedures were baths, massage, paraffin, dry carbon dioxide baths. This list arose after I rested at the Zvezda sanatorium in Marianske Lazne, and felt very good after these procedures. Of all the listed procedures in full, I received appointments only for paraffin and massage, I did not receive dry carbon dioxide baths at all, and only 4 mineral baths, and yet people go to the waters specifically for the baths. And I also didn’t understand why a new massage therapist took me for a massage every time.

In addition, Karlovy Vary provides an excellent opportunity to travel around the Czech Republic and other European countries - this is a huge plus.
