We stayed for 12 days in a two-story room with three of us. In fact, this is one room with very high ceilings, which was divided in half in height. In winter you can ventilate well and sleep. In summer it will most likely be very stuffy. Attentive and polite staff. The food was top notch. The cook cooked very well and tasty. It would be nice if you could choose between half board breakfast-dinner and breakfast-lunch. Since there were holidays, we often had dinner with friends from other hotels somewhere in a restaurant. The location is very convenient. Nearby is the Colonnade and all the springs. There are 5 parking lots near the hotel. Reservations must be made immediately along with your hotel reservation. Otherwise, you may be left without parking near the hotel. There are other parking lots, open or underground.Negatives
There is a sauna and Turkish bath. The sauna itself is in good condition. The Turkish bath is in a terribly dirty state. It is not possible to use due to dirt and unpleasant odor. It is impossible to stay in the rest areas after the sauna, because... the furniture for relaxation is all old and about to break, the ceiling is peeling and threatens to fall on your head. Urgent repairs and replacement of furniture are needed. We arrived the day before the holidays and we were informed by the doctor and the head nurse that during our stay they would not have time to do a blood test. Which turned out to be untrue. Because after lengthy discussions, one of the three people finally got the analysis done. No one even bothered about any compensation for the paid and not performed blood test. It’s not clear why declared and paid for procedures need to be fought out?

A small cozy resort. The medical staff is responsive and friendly, they can take you to procedures earlier than the appointed time, sometimes this is very convenient. The food was varied, the dishes were not repeated in two weeks. The rooms are warm, we slept with the window open (we visited in January). The room was two-room, we had a 15-year-old daughter with us, very comfortable accommodation, each on its own territory. We took coupons for a free visit to the salt cave in Lazne 5, but did not go to the pool.Negatives
The windows faced the roadway, and since it was stuffy in the room, we slept with the windows open, so from 5 in the morning we no longer slept, as the municipal services for collecting and removing garbage began to work, it was too noisy. Also, in our opinion, the pillows were not comfortable, they were somewhat lumpy (but this is most likely our nit-picking). When we booked the sanatorium, we had laboratory tests included in the price for all three of us, but the doctor said that they wouldn’t do tests on a 15-year-old girl, I still didn’t understand the reason (there may be a different methodology for conducting a biochemical blood test between an adult and a teenager, I Don't know).

I have stayed at this hotel 2 times. Good, hearty breakfasts, lunch and dinner: you choose the main course, your choice of side dish. Compared to last year, we added breakfast pastries and fruit. Renovated medical department, good treatment, but there are some nuances. The doctor examined me the first time and the second time. One procedure didn’t work for me, but I changed it without any problems. The tests were done once, and then I received the results at the appointment.Negatives
Room: it was blowing very strongly from the window, the bed was next to the window and the radiator, not even a meter from the radiator. As a result, you close the windows with curtains so that it doesn’t blow, it’s hot from the radiator when it’s running, plus you can’t reduce them, they work, as I understand, every 20/30 minutes and the room becomes completely cool, you close the radiator and it blows. The safe didn't work. Wifi didn’t really work, if instant messengers and social networks were ok, then I couldn’t watch a movie in the evening. The shower does not have closing doors like in the video, but a curtain. The taps in the sink were leaking heavily, and as a result, all day long a large puddle formed on the shelf. The bathroom is cramped, the toilet is located opposite the radiator, you have to wriggle around, it was uncomfortable. Food: onions in all salads, sometimes in potatoes and omelettes. Cleaning: in 10 days the linen was not changed. It got so funny that I was looking for a cleaning lady, because... There was no toilet paper in the room :) Treatment: nurses changed to -1. I focused on inhalations, but the standards for cleaning inhalers and basic hygiene were not followed. Small tubes are not changed after a person, I was shocked. Previous nurses changed it in front of you with tweezers, but here, if they changed it, it was with their hands, yeah, just after cleaning the bathtubs, they didn’t change it at all. A lot of water accumulated in the tubes/hoses, which is simply unacceptable. Honey. my sister made a mistake on parafango where I should put it, she also argued, in the end she read it and, without apologizing, changed it after 5 minutes. Funny. It’s unpleasant to listen to nurses arguing with each other in front of patients. For some reason, a paid massage lasts not 20 minutes, but 15. Probably the situation with inhalers was the last straw, when my inhaler failed, because... When I coughed, I lowered the hose and the water poured out, then the blonde nurse pulled my hand back and was rude, saying that I was spinning the wheels on it. There are two options for a triple room in this hotel - consisting of two rooms on the same floor or the second room is located on the second floor, where you need to climb a staircase with wobbly railings. Despite the fact that we asked in advance to give the first option, and our age was far from young, we were accommodated in a 2-story building. It was agony to climb to the second floor every time. It was cold in the room, we caught a cold. The water coming out of the shower is either sharply hot or icy, despite regulation. The medical staff behave disgustingly. I am a doctor myself. But such an attitude towards the patient is not acceptable; during the initial examination, the doctor did not even properly examine Jahodova. She prescribed a procedure for dry carbon dioxide baths, and during the first procedure I almost suffocated. The nurse tied the tourniquet tightly around his neck and left. It was a nightmare. It was impossible to get through to a doctor with a complaint and a request to change the procedure. After that, I visited carbon dioxide baths 4 more times and made a tourniquet on my torso. On January 5, my procedure was canceled after learning that I was unhappy. The doctor didn’t see me about this, she just took it and canceled it at the 6th procedure.... this should be decided at a doctor’s appointment, but not like that and why did I pay for the treatment in full, but received... not to mention the doctor, The attitude of the nursing staff is very superficial, everything is put on stream. We have previously vacationed in Salvatore several times, excellent attitude, wonderful staff. I will definitely never go to the English Court again. I really didn't like it. I will never recommend this hotel to anyone. Either something has changed in Karlovy Vary in the 5 years when we came, or this is just such a hotel. I think it will be completely different in Bristol. And when we compared the prices at Bristol Palace and the English Court, they were equivalent. The level in the English court is simply terrible. I liked everything, a quiet, calm corner, food for every taste, buffet + the possibility of additional individual ordering for lunch and dinner, for me it was already too much, what was on the buffet was enough, although people actively took extra food... Baths I liked the pearl ones. There is a sauna and hammam, we went every other day... The springs are 250 meters away..... I recommend... A stylish, decent place...Negatives

1. Reception staff need to be more friendly and stop dividing guests into Russians and everyone else. 2. If you parked your car in the hotel parking lot and paid for it, then during your stay you should not use the car (the words of the hotel reception employee), and the space will be taken up by your problems, that it is assigned to you, park the car somewhere on the road . 2. Food at the hotel - instead of the declared buffet, you only get a semblance of it and a very meager selection of products for a “snack”. Frozen fruits, sprats for breakfast, a small selection of salads and side dishes, instead of a whole banana there are blackened halves and much more. An incomprehensible system for ordering dishes for tomorrow is completely nonsense! In the menu list there are only names of dishes to choose from, what it consists of is known only to the chef, and you can guess! During the week of eating, we only had delicious baked salmon once - we got it right with the choice! Baked carp is a definite minus, the meat is rubbery, rabbit - this can only be described obscenely! 3. Bad wi-fi - sometimes it seemed that a paper letter would arrive faster than a message on Viber! On our next trip to Karlovy Vary, we will think very carefully about choosing this hotel!

We've been going to Karlovy Vary for 12 years, we've been to different sanatoriums. Ang Dv has the best food - tasty and varied. The only thing: why cut bananas or grapefruit oranges. They do oxidize. Let there be 1 piece in each hand, not even every day, but whole ones.Negatives
Request: make a ramp for lifting suitcases. Climbing steps with a load is not easy for older people. At least just lay down a few boards, as in some other sanatoriums; or make a ramp on the side, like in Ulrika.
