I was with my husband for 2 weeks from 06/19 to 07/03/2016. This is the first time at the English Court Hotel, but we have been to Karlovy Vary many times, so there is something to compare with. The price/quality ratio is excellent. The breakfast is excellent, not inferior to 4* hotels, lunch and dinner are good, but it would be desirable to improve the quality of hot dishes, which were not always successful. Our room was very nice overlooking the street. The hotel staff is very responsive. I would like to note the professionalism of Dr. Olesya Kovach. The hotel's medical facilities are very good, the location is excellent - in the heart of the beautiful Sadovaya Street. It is very convenient that there are chairs and tables outside at the entrance to the hotel. Another plus was passes to a good swimming pool in Lazne 5. We plan to come here again.Negatives
Unfortunately, fruits were present only at breakfasts and dinners; at lunch there was not enough fruit dessert. When choosing hot dishes, I would like to have one sweet dish every day, such as pancakes or casseroles, which the cook did well, but were quite rare.

Convenient location (in the center of the resort, within walking distance from the bus station, mini-fairs, a 10-15 minute walk from the sources, almost in a straight line). The staff is friendly and always ready to help. The food is sufficient and suitable for people with gastrointestinal problems; there is always one vegetarian dish on the menu. Compared to the previous visit six months ago, the following things have worsened: the food (became less tasty, sometimes with less volume) and the quality of cleaning (young girls only changed garbage bags). The hotel did not take into account the interests of vacationers when carrying out very noisy construction work in the hotel courtyard (the work will probably be completed by mid-July). If the hotel's occupancy rate is low, the administration could offer accommodation on the other side, upgrade the room category as compensation, or at least limit the time of work to 14 hours.

This is not the first year I have been vacationing in Karlovy Vary. This is my second year at this hotel. I like the combination of price and quality. The hotel is located on your favorite Sadovaya Street! Nice rooms, cleanly cleaned. The food is varied and delicious! The procedures are carried out at a good level, the doctor Olesya Kovach is very attentive. All the staff are attentive and responsive! Thank you all very much! Three weeks flew by very quickly. I will return to this hotel again.

From the hotel it is convenient not only to take a promenade along the embankment of the Tepla River, but also to hike up the mountain (on Eleni Skok, for example, to the monument to Peter I with his famous cross). Also a negative surprise was the termination of Dr. Onisko's cooperation with this hotel; we can only wish him success in his new place of work. Picky holidaymakers need to be prepared for bed linen to be changed once a week. Although you can change towels more often by leaving them on the bathroom floor. When ordering a room, you need to remember that the windows of economy class rooms look into the rock, thereby limiting direct sunlight.

There are many stairs in the sanatorium, this should be taken into account by people with limited mobility. Renovation of the house opposite continues. Work is planned in the sanatorium to connect water from the source from May to July. On May 28 and 29, work on laying pipes in the hotel itself.

I didn’t really like the treatment, because... in the bathroom procedures (on the ground floor) there is no place to wait; five of us have to stand in a small area near the elevator, waiting for the nurses to call for the procedure. Что же касается Вашего замечания об отсутствии ремонта: нам очень жаль, что по какой-то причине Вы сделали такой вывод, однако, должны заметить, что с 2012 года в нашем отеле прошло 3 больших реконструкции, в последней из которых (3.2015) мы полностью обновили все номера. Это могут подтвердить и наши многочисленные партнеры, которые знают наш отель много лет, а так же постоянные клиенты, которые были у нас ДО ремонта и ПОСЛЕ него. Мебель в номерах, ковровые покрытия, техника и многое другое было заменено чуть больше года назад. Что касается зоны ожидания: она действительно не очень большая, так как основные площади выделены именно под само лечение, однако, там установлены стулья, чтобы гости могли присесть в ожидании процедуры. К тому же мы стараемся выстроить расписание таким образом, чтобы гости никогда не ожидали своей очереди более 5 минут. For the first time in 8 visits to the CV, they asked me for tests, pictures, and medical history. Marcela is a very professional injection nurse, very attentive and friendly. An excellent chef in the restaurant, he cooks delicious food! The waiters work smoothly, quickly and always with a smile. Wonderful girl Alena at the reception. A sister takes blood without disposable gloves! During procedures, patients are placed on the same towel. A disposable roll is available only at injections and at the doctor. I went with my own towel! I really didn’t like Jana, she does the procedures carelessly, when asked to cover her with a blanket or raise the headrest, she reacts as if you were asking for a cup of coffee in bed. She does not even hide her hostility towards clients; she can scold people in a boorish tone. I witnessed an elderly woman burst into tears in the elevator after she scolded her for getting the time wrong. One of the lymphatic drainage devices is not working well. Everyone knows this, but they prove to every new client that everything is fine. Opposite the hotel there is a construction site + min. water, so I spent all three weeks listening to the sounds of a circular saw and a jackhammer.

The hotel is conveniently located on the most beautiful street in Karlovy Vary. Not far from the springs. The doctors are attentive. There are no problems with replacing procedures if the need arises. The treatment is high quality. Mineral water for baths has already been supplied, everything will work in the summer. The staff is mostly friendly and welcoming. I liked the food. Just enough. Hot dishes made to order are especially good. The cook is wonderful! The presentation of dishes, the size of portions, the quality of products are at a decent level - this does not happen in every restaurant. During my three weeks at the hotel, the dishes were almost never repeated! The rooms are different. It's a lottery, depending on your luck. But mostly cozy. Everything necessary for life and recreation is available. Rooms are cleaned daily at a convenient time. Change of towels, bed linen, dressing gowns - in sufficient quantity. Мы связались с лечебным отделением и узнали, что Вам была назначена именно процедура "парафанго" ("parafango"), а не "грязелечение" ("slatina"). Обе процедуры представляют собой наложение пластов на кожу, чисто визуально процедуры похожи, поэтому могло возникнуть недопонимание. В процедуре "парафанго" используется смесь торфа и парафина, которая при выходе из духовки имеет температуру от 37 до 40 градусов Цельсия. В зависимости от индивидуальной переносимости клиента (кто-то более чувствителен к температуре, кто-то менее), эта процедура может восприниматься телом немного по-разному. We were at the hotel at the beginning of March, everything was very good. Wonderful staff, the girls at the reception helped resolve all issues.
