Excellent location: beautiful, quiet street, optimal distance to the springs, just after drinking water you can take a walk. Pleasant room, good furniture, spacious and comfortable bathroom. Unfriendly and, as it seemed to me, indifferent Dr. Yahodova, not always a convenient schedule of procedures: they can start early, then with long breaks further, a little boring and unattractive salad bar, during the 16 days of my stay I saw dessert only 5 times at breakfast, and at lunch and dinner At best, it's tea bags, there's no way to even buy something to go with it or coffee. There is no kettle or appropriate utensils in the room; I had to go to the reception through two elevators for a cup of coffee (I lived in the second building). Why not, if there are no kettles, put a cooler with cold and hot water so that vacationers can drink tea or coffee in their room in the evening or even during the day, rather than going to a cafe or restaurant for this. У нас проживает около 100 человек, и у нас нет такой негативный отзыв ,салаты подавать на обед и ужин свежий 10 видов каждый день.Десерт каждый день на завтрак, на обед фрукты и на ужин каждый день, десерт,чайник из соображений безопасности не в номере. На стойке регистрации, за депозит 5€ могут получить термос и в течение дня мы даем им по требованию горячей воды.Чай у нас на завтрак и ужин в ресторане, Bрач дает процедуры как ей все это работает в системе, у нас полный отель ,не может каждый определять, когда хотел бы пойти на процедуры. I vacationed at the Anglicky Dvur sanatorium for the second time. After vivid impressions from the first trip, I flew to the sanatorium as if “on wings.” Compared to last year, this time I was in for a terrible disappointment... I booked the hotel in advance, 6 months in advance, and paid almost 2,000 Euros for a two-week stay in this sanatorium. And in the end, I was accommodated in an additional building, next to the utility rooms; in response to all my requests to be moved to the main building, to a room of the same category, they asked for an additional 50 euros, and this despite the fact that half of the hotel was empty. The hotel administration blamed the site sanatoriums.com., they say they booked you this way... The attitude of the medical staff also leaves much to be desired... They began to come for procedures at any time convenient for THEMSELVES. For the second year in a row, we are vacationing at the English Dvor sanatorium, we made the order through your website. The work of the site is impeccable, everything is clear, fast and the site materials guide you to make the right choice. The hotel itself is very cozy, the food is simply homemade, tasty and varied. We ate delicious fresh food almost every day fish or good meat dishes. light, varied soups. There are enough vegetables and fruits, and the dining room staff is polite and professional. The medical department works clearly and professionally, the set of procedures is standard. I would like to note the excellent work of the nurse performing pneumoacupuncture, as well as underwater massage in the balneo department. In general, all the nurses are just great, thank you very much to all of them! Dr. Leya Yagodova was very attentive and responded immediately when I had a breakdown due to drinking medicinal water. The room cleaning is always excellent, and the reception staff, with rare exceptions, are always friendly.Negatives

Ugly room, with a spiral staircase. Bed under the ceiling!!! It is not shown on the website when booking. We moved into it and changed it two days later for 50 euros!!! A woman from Germany fell (young) and was taken to an ambulance; she also had an X-ray done at her own expense. In the dining room (it’s hard to call it a restaurant), they serve you with such faces that you want to swallow everything quickly and run away. They're in a hurry... like come early. We had lunch at 14:30. I had to complain. I’m not talking about baking. Whoever had time, ate it. And then they put out broken shortbread cookies from packs, just like when I was a child in kindergarten. I have been twice before to Humbolt and Royal Regent. I can't even begin to compare. Excellent there and there!!! I’m generally silent about Garden Street. I bought earplugs and slept with them!!! At 6 a.m., garbage collection and noise begin. There is a construction site nearby. And people come to improve their health and get some sleep! This is rudeness and disgrace!!! And also the miracle of signs for Russians in all the treatment rooms in Russian, “don’t knock,” like the rednecks have arrived, you’ve bothered us!!! To the doctor, if a problem arises, you also knock on the office. And silence.... is it there or not.... guess for yourself!!! And suddenly, after 5 minutes, the door opens, there are no patients there and the question is, what did you want, so... having nothing to do... they came to talk!!! In general, I’m shocked... yes, I agree, this is a three. Everything is meager and wretched... but we must at least be kinder and more tolerant. Who writes good reviews about this hotel? I really feel sorry for these people. !!! Conclusion: we need to work harder and not go to such squalor

We vacationed in August 2018. We arrived a couple of hours before check-in time and got a room without any problems (we booked a triple room for 2 adults and a child). Everything is clean, tidy, the room is large with 2 rooms, there is a mini-fridge and a safe. Bathrobes, slippers, bathroom accessories were in the room, Towels are changed every 3 days and upon request. We were very pleased with the food, we took 3 meals a day - buffet, although we didn’t have enough energy to go to restaurants. Every day, orders for the main course were sent to the kitchen (there was a choice). The salads are standard, mostly the same every day. The staff are great, they are friendly, they speak Russian, and if necessary, the reception staff are ready to help you find the right shops, restaurants, transport schedules, etc. Upon check-in, everyone was given cards for 2 free visits to the swimming pool in Lazne; my wife did not go, so my daughter and I used her cards. On the very first day, we were examined by a doctor, who prescribed a drinking course of local mineral water and procedures (baths, mud, gas injections, massage, etc.). People here rest for 2-3 weeks (they say during such a period you can actually feel an improvement in well-being - I haven’t checked, I don’t know), the main contingent is 55+. Old-timers, those who come to this hotel for 5-7 years in a row, note a deterioration in the approach to treatment and nutrition (however, they still come back here))) They got the 4th floor, windows to the courtyard (a big plus, since there is no sunny side and a minimum of street noise ) There is no air conditioning, but we didn’t need it - even in the heat, the room was cool. The closest are the 11th spring and Zmeiny, you can see it on the map. It’s a very small climb up the hill, but it’s almost unnoticeable (there are hotels on the mountain, and running from there to the springs 3 times a day is scary to think about. My advice: look at Google Maps for directions to the selected hotels; if you’re going uphill, think twice). We traveled from Prague by bus and walked from the stop to the hotel in about 15 minutes. I recommend the hotel.Negatives
The down pillows were uncomfortable for us (it was possible that we could have asked the staff for a replacement - but we didn’t). The water in the shower is not very well regulated.

As a bonus, we were given passes to the pool. I have a severe allergy to chlorine! I asked for a replacement at the Salt Cave. The hotel and Lazne refused. Why?! 6 coupons were missing. Last year there was a replacement alternative.

A very decent hotel. The optimum ratio of price and quality. Excellent location of the hotel. Varied and tasty food. Compared to previous years, there are more fruits and juices. It's nice that the restaurant has undergone renovation; it has become more stylish and comfortable for guests. The room has a decent amount of solid wood, a comfortable bed.. We are very grateful for a good time at the hotel! Wonderful treatment procedures, excellent food, excellent attitude of the staff. It’s nice that an 8-year-old child was also treated! I liked everything very much. There is no language barrier, all issues were resolved without problems. I recommend this hotel for different categories of people.

Наш отель является историческим зданием, архитектурные особенности которого не позволяют иметь одинаковые номера, поэтому каждый номер по-своему уникален. Однако, у экономов есть правило, что там всегда вид в стену соседнего здания. Номера эконом НИКОГДА не выходят окнами на Садовую улицу. Oкна номеров, которые находятся на 4. этаже, совсем незначительно меньше, чем стандартные окна. Мы надеемся на ваш следующий визит, и очень рекомендуем сообщить отелю заранее Ваши пожелания относительно номера. С уважением,

Not our first time in Karlovy Vary, but this is the best hotel we have visited. The hotel has been renovated. Excellent location, very close to the springs. Wonderful work by all the staff (cleaning every day, procedures exactly as scheduled, quick check-in, etc.). Very tasty food in the restaurant, the only remark is to add a little desserts, otherwise one type of pie and only for breakfast is somehow not enough, although .... good for the figure.) maybe for the better.
