First of all, I arranged excellent treatment, healthy fresh food, excellent location, my room was also good, and a large pool, who needs it - next to Lazne with a huge pool. I went there twice during two weeks of a wonderful vacation and that was enough, I recommend it!

The most important advantage of staying in this sanatorium is that the sanatorium is located within walking distance from the springs. This makes it possible to stay hydrated in any weather. The food in the restaurant is all very tasty. I advise women to take only breakfast and dinner (or breakfast and lunch). An unpleasant aftertaste remained only from staying in a room on the 4th floor, since on the 5th floor there is some kind of room with a motor that pumps water or operates ventilation and a jacuzzi in the entire hotel. There was a strange hum in the room from 9 am to 9 pm. Everyone who lived in this wing complained, but the answer was that nothing can be done, so just wait until 9 pm.... On the night when they forgot to turn off this engine, I thought I was going crazy. Since I was practically not in the room during the day, it was tolerable for me, but for those who wanted to sleep during the day, I don’t know how they got out of this situation. We were from March 20 to 30, the room was on the second floor directly above the entrance with flags on the balcony, which gave some kind of festive mood. Convenient location, friendly and punctual staff. Stable WiFi - you can watch movies online if you wish. Small sauna and swimming pool. We took full board and, in our opinion, it was very convenient - we didn’t have to bother with any snacks. Menu selection: breakfast - buffet, salads, coffee, teas, juices. Everything was fresh and beautifully presented. Lunch: first, a choice of two soups; second, it seems, from three. But there is something new and interesting all the time. And, of course, salads, Czech pastries, various teas and coffee. Dinner: choice of three courses and perhaps add the soup you had for lunch. Mostly our people came from Russia and Germany. There were several German grandmothers. It was somewhat more difficult for them because they had the impression that it was easier and more familiar for the staff to communicate in Russian than in German. Tables for 4 or 8 people. We had seats at a table of 8, but there were usually no more than six. We had a pleasure talking and meeting very nice people from Moscow and St. Petersburg. The warmest memories remain. Great pleasure from the city itself, wonderful nature and stunning views. Be sure to go up to Diana and visit the cafe there with fireplaces in the hall. But this is not a reproach to the sanatorium. -Sometimes the room did not smell very good - there was something smelling either from the ventilation or from the sewer. We were told that this is common for Karlovy Vary when the weather changes. -In the morning, some cars, apparently delivering food, did not turn off the engine while unloading directly under our balcony. In Germany, for example, this is prohibited. Both the noise and the exhaust... - If you are driving, there will be problems with parking. I visited the Venus sanatorium, as well as Karlovy Vary, for the first time from April 3 to April 10, 2017. Starting from our arrival, and we arrived at 11.40, much earlier than the established check-in time (14.00), we felt like long-awaited guests, to whom everyone was very happy. We were greeted warmly, the documents were promptly completed and we were seated. The restaurant manager, charming and always attentive, Dasha, took us to lunch, telling and showing us everything. We booked half board with breakfast and lunch. Breakfast is a buffet with a large selection of cold cuts and cheeses, vegetables, fruits, salads, and dairy products. Lunch is made to order - two first courses, six second, always including meat (pork, beef, chicken (rabbit) and fish. The dishes are tasty, large, beautifully decorated. Special respect to the chef! The hotel staff and medical workers are professionals in their field, good Russian-speaking. I would like to mention the massage therapist Miroslava for her high level of professionalism and charm. The rooms are spacious, towels are cleaned daily, bed linen is changed every three days. The hotel is located very conveniently for sources, shops and cafes, the bus station is a 15-minute walk away. On the eve of departure, we ordered a sanatorium transfer to Prague airport. The minivan, considering that our team consisted of four people, arrived on time, the driver helped load and unload things. We left with regret, but with the hope of returning next year. This hotel has a lot of advantages that determine your choice. Definitely a very convenient location. The springs are close, it’s convenient to walk around tourist spots. Separately, I would like to note the excellent attitude of the staff, especially the reception staff. I really liked the food, we took breakfast and lunch so that we could go for a walk in the evenings and study local cuisine:)) The quality of treatment is excellent, all procedures are strictly timed, the atmosphere in the treatment department is comfortable. Honestly, there is absolutely nothing to write about the minuses, except perhaps a purely symbolic doctor’s appointment, but maybe that’s how it seemed to me personally. The excellent location of the sanatorium allows you to be within a 5-minute walking distance from drinking sources and at the same time be in silence from the crowd of vacationers. It is worth noting the attitude of the staff, you come as if you were family. Any issue is resolved very quickly, whether it concerns changes in procedures or other aspects of the stay. I would like to especially note the work of the nurses: EVA - providing water procedures, the bathrooms are always prepared with a comfortable temperature, works carefully with the elderly, helping them to make it comfortable to get into and out of the bathroom; LUCIE - gas injections, all procedures related to IF currents, ultrasound, etc. An attentive, responsive and very professional nurse. The work of the restaurant staff is another strong point of the sanatorium. Very tasty, varied, beautiful! I thank Yetka’s shift for their work - the eldest and her assistants for such a sensitive, attentive attitude towards the vacationers.
