Our room was large, it was an Apartment and consisted of two rooms. The linen was clean, white and like new, they were changed very often. Barbara the maid is very kind, friendly, always with a smile on her face. She cleaned very well and conscientiously. The rooms were very warm, but the windows were old and could not be opened for ventilation. At the reception, the staff are all very attentive, ready to help and advise on any questions, for which we are very grateful. The hotel is not new, but they are very careful about cleanliness, there are carpets everywhere and it is clean. Food for lunch and dinner was sometimes salty, but every day there was Fish. All dishes were fresh and tasty. Lots of fruits every day, thank you very much, vitamins are very useful in winter. The treatment is good, but the procedures are only before lunch. The location of the hotel is also convenient. Everything is within walking distance.Negatives
The apartment was large, but the washbasins were old and shabby and had poor circulation. The elevator worked, but there was only one and only 2 people were allowed in at a time. The food in the restaurant, especially breakfast, is the same every day, so-so, not much choice. Repeatedly, the dishes were very salty, they asked us to pass them on to the cooks, but they told us that the cook told us that the dishes were not salty, but not only we, but also our neighbors at the table were also unhappy. Lunch and dinner, the main course must be ordered in advance, there is also a buffet, where the choice of salads or vegetables is not very good, there is not enough variety, the sauce with which the main dishes are poured for lunch or dinner is best served separately on each table if desired. Very small cups for coffee and tea, a little larger cups could be added. In the restaurant, 30-40 minutes before the end of work, many dishes are already out. The staff, like everywhere else, some smile and are friendly, while others are indignant, showing their displeasure that the time for eating is strictly on the clock. Some clear away the dirty dishes quickly, others stand and talk to each other, not paying attention to the fact that there are other people in the room. The restaurant staff, after the next breakfast, lunch or dinner, needs to set the table for the guests again, this is done when people are still eating at the table, especially when the tables are standing next to each other, turning their backs “in one place” to people who have not yet eaten, very not civilized and respectful, and also interfere with access to the table. There are not many procedures and the doctor naturally prescribes those procedures that are less expensive, and those that are cheaper more. The staff is not always friendly, very strict towards people. After bathing, sheets are provided, not towels. There are no towels on the steps, it is very slippery. During the procedure, you want to relax, get maximum pleasure and results from the procedure, but the medical staff sometimes talks very loudly among themselves, sometimes laughs. I want peace and quiet. The smell in the pool is very strange, it is necessary to ventilate the room. There are only 4 parking spaces near the hotel, so we had to park the car far from the hotel. And most importantly, due to the situation in Ukraine (War), my husband and I had to urgently leave (2 days earlier from the hotel) to pick up relatives in order to save their lives from terrible bombings in Ukraine. Nice hotel, excellent location, clean and spacious room (we had a balcony - very beautiful panorama), the hotel has a good pool and jacuzzi. Breakfast is good, buffet style. All procedures are practically possible, what is required, and the specialists are competent. Sanatorium Venus. To say that we were delighted would be an understatement, it was fantastic. The hotel is located in the very center, so convenient that it’s even impossible to describe, within walking distance, literally a 3-minute walk from the springs, 5 minutes from the main street with shops, excellent food (special respect to the chef), everything was very and very tasty, excellent attitude of the staff, I would especially like to mention the doctor - Tatyana Bocharova, a very competent doctor, we were glad to hear competent recommendations and get answers to long-standing questions. I would also like to note the nurses, everyone, without exception, was friendly and attentive, after the doctor’s appointment you go to the nurses who are located next to the doctor’s office and the nurse describes the therapy program, they met us in all matters. In a word, the hotel deserves the highest rating, I recommend it to those who really want to improve their health and leave Karlovy Vary rested and healthy! Thanks to the hotel management for such an excellent organization, for the amazingly attentive staff! Now I perfectly understand the hotel’s clients who return to it 6..8..10 times...apparently we will also be among them!Negatives

We were in the sanatorium from December 29 to January 5. Many thanks to Sanatoriums for organizing transfers from Prague and back. We lived on the 5th floor, cleaning and changing of towels every day. The food is ok, it's hard to stay hungry. The menu includes 2 first, 4 meat and 2 fish dishes. I liked the coffee from the coffee machine. For lunch and dinner there was tea and water. Variety of fruits. One of the reviews suggested that the sauce be served separately with the main courses. We also support this wish. Once we ordered carp with gravy. For me the fish was ruined by the tomato sauce gravy. The medical facilities are not bad, but apparently everything is busy. Of the 17 paid procedures, only 8 are so-called basic ones (bath, massage, underwater massage, lymphatic drainage). Yes, about the New Year's dinner, 80 euros per person, was included in the price of the tour. Here the chef showed his art of cooking. There was a lot, a lot of everything. It’s a pity that it was very stuffy in the restaurant; the resort does not have climate control. I had to leave the restaurant without waiting 12 o'clock.Negatives

First of all, I want to thank Sanatoriums.com for a perfectly organized tour. You guys are great, from help in choosing a sanatorium to transfer to the airport, everything was perfect! Now a little about the Venus sanatorium. The sanatorium itself is small, but very compact and cozy. The medical base is not so large and extensive, but there is almost everything necessary to maintain health. The food is very good, the chefs are great!
