The procedures begin very early (at 6:30 am), there are no covers on the beds, so the room does not look very comfortable, meals are served in two one-hour shifts. It would be more correct to do one shift and increase the time to two to three hours. I was in Astoria for the second time, but I just can’t understand why for 6 oxygen procedures from my package (36 procedures) they calculate 20 procedures.

The windows of my room overlooked the colonnade. This turned out to be a torment in the summer: during the day the room was very hot from the sun, it was very stuffy in it. Until late at night and sometimes at night the noise and songs under the window disturbed us. The single room is very small, which ruined the whole holiday. The furniture in the room is very poor. The food in the restaurant leaves much to be desired, especially the selection of salads in the buffet: 5 coleslaws or carrots for variety. Garlic is often added to dishes, which you will agree is not to everyone’s taste. The fruit is not of the best quality. For a missed day of meals due to leaving for an excursion, they refused to give you a dry ration.

Unfortunately, the behavior of individual doctors leaves much to be desired: offensive arrogance, inattention to the natural requests of the patient. For example, in order to get your blood glucose tested, you have to stand in a long line to see a doctor every time, and not just go to a nurse. A young doctor who had recently come to Astoria yelled at me like a market woman. After that I never went to the doctors. It would be good for such a person to read the textbook “Medical Ethics”. V. The cuisine is very good, the food is varied, there are strictly dietary ones. Very good location, directly opposite the Mill Colonnade, where the 9th, 8th, 7th and 6th springs are located. The geyser is also nearby. You can book excursions directly from the sanatorium (at the reception desk) on weekends when there are no procedures. I recommend this resort. Compared to my last visit, there was apparently a reduction in the staff of the average medical center. personnel. Previously, at parafango, 2 people worked in the inhalation room. Now the workload on them has increased, but the girls are still trying. The reduction is understandable, it’s like this everywhere now, it’s a necessary measure to maintain profitability. I wish my beloved sanatorium further prosperity!
