We vacationed in Astoria from September 1 to September 13, 2019. We hasten to give this sanatorium the highest rating. We highly recommend it to all vacationers. Our accommodation was at the Walker Hotel, and food and treatment were in Astoria. We doubted whether it would be convenient, but it turned out better than we could have imagined. Volker has large rooms and is close to the main building. We were delighted by the restaurant's delicious diet food and fresh white tablecloths. I was also pleasantly surprised by the attentive attitude of all the medical staff towards our persons. I would especially like to note Dr. Belov for his professionalism and willingness to spend a long time dealing with each patient. unfortunately there are more minuses...the range of dishes offered is not enough for a healthy diet (especially for breakfast)..I was surprised by the absence of such a popular drink as cappuccino - I had to add warm milk to the black coffee...food at the hotel is organized in 2 shifts (apparently due to lack of seats) which creates great difficulties for an already busy time... especially in the morning... -3-4 procedures... taking water in 45 minutes. before meals..my time for breakfast and dinner was limited to only 1 hour..- i.e. from 9 to 10. and from 19 to 20.. which was absolute nonsense for me... several times... in the morning.. the situation turned out like this -whether to run for a procedure...or for breakfast...The first week, out of 3 elevators, only one was working...at best -2...(one of them is of an old design...morally obsolete, as they say)..people , those who arrived before me did not advise using one of the elevators... it seemed to be working... because... it often gets stuck... extreme, isn't it!? I felt sorry for people with sore knee joints.. shortness of breath.. Room... comfortable mattress.. good light blanket.. but the towels should have been replaced - thin and hard.. not I found the promised watch on the bedside table... the window handle was loose - you can open it easily, but closing it requires special skill).
