We rested for 16 days and ordered 41 procedures. Unfortunately, the procedures were distributed very unevenly: in the first week there were not very many procedures, and in the last week it was very intense, sometimes 2 different massages a day. We were thrilled about this spa hotel. After a while (because of Corona) we were back in Karlsbad. This time in the "Astoria". All applications went smoothly and cleanly. Of course, it can happen that an employee who is carrying out a certain treatment falls ill from one day to the next and therefore the treatments have to be rescheduled according to the doctor's prescription. We are concerned about the health and safety of our guests, employees who become ill must stay home. It is also better to plan excursions or other daytime activities for Sunday as no treatments take place on Sundays. The cabinet under the sink was checked and repaired. We arrived earlier. It's not up to us. We were not greeted at the hotel very well (like what are you doing). We knew that check-in was at 14.00 and therefore did not ask for anything. We could leave our things and take a walk. Then, when they saw that we were from Estonia and heard that we spoke a different language, the staff changed 360 degrees. They began to smile and said that we could move in. We still didn’t understand what was the matter. In the following days everything was fine with the administrator. We also heard from other people that the administrators are not very polite. And I would like to note that it is not permissible for one administrator to discuss another guest with another administrator in the presence of guests. They are the face of the hotel. A nurse who works with a doctor is something. Food: soups are generally impossible to eat. Is it possible to ruin an omelet or scrambled eggs, it turns out that it is possible. During the first three days, I personally had a very difficult time choosing food. The pasta is overcooked. I didn’t like that the procedures were at 6.40 am. Not very good for the body. We wanted to buy additional procedures, but for some reason they didn’t sell us. We expected a 4 star hotel with appropriate service, food and treatment. The hotel has steps every few meters and is difficult for people with problems or disabilities to walk on. The rooms are cleaned daily, but the carpets are not vacuumed, and the bathrooms are also poorly cleaned. The beds are uncomfortable, the rooms have no air conditioning, the bathrooms have no amenities, and the towels are so thin you can see through them. The food is like Motel 8: runny eggs, burnt fried sausage, pork rolls for breakfast, over-salted fish and beef and pork floating in fat for lunch and dinner. They were constantly running out of food, tables are limited, some are reserved so space is very limited. If you don't eat oatmeal and salad for breakfast 2 times a day, there is no other diet food. The medical staff is rude. I have heard nurses yell at people many times. They plan your routines from 6:20 am and then yell when you want to change them.
