We were accommodated in room 207. A very cramped room, not at all suitable for comfort+. It is impossible to turn around in the bathroom; only a very thin person can fit into the shower stall. The corridor is also so narrow that two people cannot pass each other. There is no locker for shoes at all, only hangers for outerwear, and then they are located in front of the front door, very inconvenient. Shampoo and gel in one bottle, which is also incomprehensible. As a gel it’s ok, but as a shampoo it leaves much to be desired. No toothpaste or toothbrush. Convenient location for walking, springs are close, and this is important for older people. Special thanks to Dr. Stoklaskova for her excellent reception and prescribing procedures that were suitable for us. She listened very carefully to all our questions, answered them in detail and gave many recommendations. Many thanks to Sanatoriums for the efficient work. I have been using this site for five years and rate the work as excellent. This year I vacationed in Astoria from February 8 to 22. The sanatorium is located in the very center of Karlovy Vary. I reserved an economy single room overlooking the courtyard, but was pleasantly surprised: the windows overlooked the colonnade. Many thanks to all the medical staff and the work of the waiters in the restaurant. Everywhere is clean and tidy. I will recommend the Astoria sanatorium to my friends.Negatives
Daily cleaning of room 407 consisted only of emptying the trash baskets. In 14 days, the floor was not vacuumed once, the bathroom sink was wiped three times, and the shower curtains were not wiped even once. The bed was replaced on the 10th day. Just returned from my beloved KV and (now beloved) Astoria. Initially I booked Pavlov, but a few days before departure they called sanatoriums.com and offered to replace me with Astoria at no extra charge for my more comfortable stay. And then I realized that I was very lucky! I really liked Astoria. Excellent living conditions, excellent food (tasty, varied, large selection of everything, excellent restaurant with the same service), attitude of the medical staff, procedures - everything was wonderful. The location of the hotel - there’s nothing to comment on - is ideal. Price-quality is what Astoria is all about. There are no cosmetics in the bathroom, only liquid soap. There weren't even ear sticks. It is obvious that they are saving on everything. Sauna for a fee. The water in the pool is cold. Процедуры в рамках лечения к сожалению не могут быть назначены по желанию госта, все процедуры всегда назначает курортный врач, чтобы они были в соотвествии с состоянием здоровья госта. Пока у госта в течении пребывания косметическое вмешательство, нельзя это комбинировать с классическим лечением. Информации об этом Вы от врача получили и были согласны. Питание - завтраки, обеды и ужины предлагаются за шведским столом, бассейн и сауну можно назначить как одну из процедур в рамках лечения, в таком случае бассейн и сауна с профессиональным наблюдением. Нам жаль, пока Вы не были довольны, но перед заездом надо всегда подумать, какие пpиоритеты в течении пребывания.
