There are no downsides at all, but the only drawback I want to note is the lack of tonometers (devices for measuring pressure) on the floors. The nurse supposedly has the device, but they never measured our blood pressure at our request. Then it’s not clear why there is a nurse on duty in the building????? We express our gratitude to the hotel for providing us with a large two-room suite after renovation. The tea room pleased us with a wide variety of teas. The sanatorium is located right in the city center, very convenient, everything is within walking distance, springs, attractions. The hotel staff is very friendly, polite and attentive. Thanks to the cook for the good food, everything was tasty and fresh. The rooms are very cozy, warm, double doors in the room and also in the hallway maintain silence and provide peace. The room was cleaned every day. The hotel has every chance to get 4 stars. A great idea for a tea room - a unique opportunity to try and explore up to 20 types of tea. The schedule of procedures and meals is very well organized, everything is done according to schedule, there are no queues either in the dining room or for procedures. In my opinion, the change in food format from ordering a la carte to a buffet led to a deterioration in the quality of food. If you come to a restaurant not at the time of its opening, but 5 minutes later, you may not find some dishes, and it is unknown when they will be replenished. They can replace it with something else. Food deteriorates from constant heating in steam tables - some dishes dry out, some are lukewarm. And the food in general is not very tasty. The schedule of procedures does not take into account either the time of eating or the drinking course. My appeal on this matter prompted the response “If you don’t want to, don’t go.” It seems to me that this is a strange position regarding the provision of prepaid services. In addition, in my case, it turned out that I was not able to complete one of the procedures - only 2 procedures, which, of course, makes little sense. This is the first time I’ve encountered this on my 8th visit to KV and 5th to Astoria. I think this indicates poor planning. Underwater massage is no longer done at all; hydrojet is prescribed instead. It is clear that underwater massage was a much more expensive procedure, but it had an effect.
