Astoria is the best. Diet food. Three types of meat - pork, beef, poultry and fish - different every day. Vegetables, fruits, snacks..desserts..Two types of salads. Everything is steamed or stewed - everything for problems with the gastrointestinal tract. Cooked very well! Respect to the cook! I was there for two weeks and my stomach pain stopped. The masseuses are simply class! Honey. the sister at the paraffin wraps is a wonderful woman and a professional! The girls at the “baths” are friendly and caring! And the rest of the honey. staff too! Doctor Belov listened and prescribed the treatment that I myself wanted! Professional and joker!! The maids are friendly and polite! They clean the rooms well! There is a tea room - 4 types of tea change every day (28 types of tea per week). + milk, honey, lemons, sugar. The hotel is quiet, despite its central location! (Although the paving stones near the Colonnade were restored, but only during the day... it was noisy). If you want delicious food, then book at the Colonnade, , Pupp, or Imperial, but the price will be a couple of thousand euros higher.Negatives

When traveling on excursions, it is not possible to transfer missed breakfasts and dinners to other days (we had half board and we would have preferred not to take dry rations, but simply have the opportunity to have lunch on the days after returning - other sanatoriums provided this opportunity) But I want to say that this minor flaws that did not in any way affect the quality of our holiday. The location of Astoria is wonderful - opposite the springs from which I was prescribed to drink water, there are many wonderful “green” squares and parks nearby, where you can go in your free time from procedures and meals. I liked Dr. Andrey Belov, prescribed procedures that suited me, and when I felt uncomfortable during one of the procedures, he immediately replaced me with others; before leaving, he gave a number of recommendations on nutrition. Among the excursions, I chose the “Resort Triangle” and Karlovy Vary. There are many travel agencies, prices vary slightly, while walking I collected their advertisements, which are displayed on the streets, and chose the appropriate price. The excursions were interesting, started on time, and the guides were professional. I am very pleased with the treatment and rest, especially since the weather was warm, even sometimes hot, during the entire period there were a couple of rainy and cool days. There are good stores, many have discounts, so I also updated my wardrobe. Medicines are much cheaper at the pharmacy, but some are sold only with a prescription. Experienced patients brought prescriptions, and the doctor at the sanatorium, based on them, wrote out a prescription for the pharmacy. Both euros and kroons are in use, there are many exchangers, but in some stores, when paying in euros, they give change in kroons, so it’s better to have euros in small denominations. In the distribution of procedures, they assigned 2 less than what was paid, although we didn’t take any procedures that cost 2, citing the fact that they have a lot of people and don’t have time for everyone, in order to achieve justice they had to spend their nerves. Nurses are changed every day on one and someone else is doing the same procedure every day and they do it completely differently, in rare cases as it should be, but mostly they shorten the time of the procedure. Everyone is just angry and you can really feel it. The Internet that was stated to be available in the rooms now does not work. The elevator is constantly breaking down, there hasn’t been a single day without it breaking down, and there are hundreds of people. It’s very stuffy throughout the hotel, the whole smell from the dining room is in the corridors and goes into the room. I don't think I will come to this hotel again.
