We booked a room for 12 days in January-February 2016. The holiday turned out to be simply excellent. The location of the room is wonderful. As soon as we checked in, we went out onto the balcony and an amazing landscape opened up before us..... The whole city was in full view, and opposite the hotel (across the road) was an Orthodox church. The purest mountain air. Cars hardly drive. We arrived by car (guarded, closed parking lot behind the hotel). The price for a double room is reasonable. We took Vollpension (it turned out to be a lot), you can take breakfast and dinner. The city has restaurants, cafes, doner shops, shops... (quite enough for a snack). I really liked the sauna and swimming pool. We visited it every day. We also took a daily promenade through the city center (quite a long pedestrian zone), in addition, we went to the mountains, to the Tower of Diana and other places (signposts and routes are located so that you won’t get lost - in prominent places and right on the trees :)) . Treatment: baths, classical massage, pneumoacupuncture (injections), lymphatic drainage, inhalation, the main focus is treatment of joints and relaxation. In general and in particular, the holiday was a success. If possible, we will go again and recommend going to this hotel.Negatives
This is not a negative, but a feature of the location -----The hotel is located somewhat far from the drinking source (about 400 meters). This was a big plus for us, since we love movement and walk relatively quickly. For people who have serious problems with their legs and long hikes, it will be difficult to travel to the source three times a day.

Located on a hill, so the view is very beautiful. You need to be prepared for the fact that there will be an upswing from the sources. I really liked the wellness center and sauna. The cuisine is varied and tasty. The hotel is not super luxurious, but very good.

Very cozy, bright hotel. The people who work at this hotel are excellent. They treat their guests very carefully. The good news is that everyone understands and speaks Russian. The hotel itself is very beautiful. A huge plus is that there are saunas (3 types) and a swimming pool. The time for eating was very conveniently chosen, I mean the spread of time. You have time to drink water, go to procedures, and just take a walk around the beautiful city. The food at the hotel is very varied and tasty. Some people have been going to this hotel for 20 years or more, and that in itself says something. My husband and I are very glad that we visited here and hope that we will come again. There will be no problems with the language. All employees speak Russian well with a clear accent. There are no and cannot be any complaints about the work of the service personnel. Everyone knows their job very well and behaves sympathetically and politely. Room cleaning is excellent.

I really liked the hotel staff!!! All without exception!!! They perform their duties at a good level. The hotel is located in a beautiful and quiet location. It has a sufficient number of parking lots for cars. There is also a small but very good sauna! To sources with min. water for about 10 minutes walk, very good and useful exercise.

Just behind the hotel is a green forest with many walking paths with maps and signs. After breakfast or lunch, I always went for a walk with my friend to tone up and lose weight.

We were in the Smetana Vysehrad sanatorium from March 1 to March 15, 2015. We liked everything very much. They greeted us very kindly, quickly accommodated us, fed us, and provided us with a free parking space. The next day in the morning we already had an appointment with the doctor, received prescriptions for treatment and began treatment on the same day. I would like to thank all the staff. It is impossible to single out anyone separately, because each person was in his place and each did his job very well. The food quality was good, everything was fresh and varied. The sauna is amazing, the pool is great. The sanatorium is located on the mountain, near the Russian Church, on a quiet and very cozy street. The sanatorium is not very big, but very cozy, it feels like you have returned home, where you were very welcome. May people who have problems with the musculoskeletal system forgive me, but you’d better look for something closer to the source, but for those who don’t have these problems, I recommend this sanatorium.Negatives

Good location a short distance from the center. In the summer, when there are crowds of tourists, it helps a lot. But from the sources you have to walk uphill. The hotel staff is very attentive. The treatment is at a good level, there are quite a lot of procedures, mostly all classic ones for Karlovy Vary.
