Greetings! I would like to share my impressions of my stay at the Smetana-Vyshegrad sanatorium. We vacationed there for the first time, and did not regret at all that we booked it. We were satisfied with everything about it, excellent treatment, excellent staff work (all the staff are Czechs, everyone speaks Russian well and are very sincere people, I remember Mrs. Eva and Miroslava and Mr. Peter). The restaurant also has an excellent team, excellent chefs: Mr. Tonda and Robert. As for the food, I want to say that we were fed well, all the dishes were very tasty. At breakfast there are yoghurts, sliced cheese, ham and sausages, omelettes, sausages, herbs, fruits. Baking (various biscuits, cakes, muffins), juices, coffee. For lunch, several salads, a lot of greens, vegetables (by the way, they dress the salads not with mayonnaise, but with sour cream). The second courses were like in a restaurant - they cooked rabbit, chicken, and trout, and carp, schnitzels, chops - it would take a long time to list everything, one thing I can say is the food - Super! The waiters are great - Ian, Nela, Martina, Sarah - very attentive, cheerful and friendly young guys. The procedures prescribed by the doctor also suited my wife and I, alternating baths, oxygen therapy, lymphatic drainage, massage, magnetotherapy - great, considering that in the break between procedures you need to have time to go to the springs to drink water, then the days fly by just like an instant. You have to walk a lot, but this also has its own healing effect. The hotel has a cool sauna, hammam, jacuzzi and swimming pool (the water in it was 29 degrees). To summarize, I want to say that in terms of price/quality ratio, for us, in any case, it was an excellent option for relaxation and treatment. We liked everything and were satisfied with everything. I want to thank everyone for our wonderful vacation. And if I have the opportunity to go again, I will go to Smetana!

I could write for a long time about how satisfied I was with my visit to Karlovy Vary. beautiful city, the atmosphere of a real resort. Although the Smetana Vysehrad Hotel is not located in the city center, this is exactly what I liked, I was able to relax peacefully and the fact that I went to the springs allowed me to lose a couple of kilograms without much difficulty. you can’t imagine how wonderful the saunas are there. The staff is attentive and will smile once again, which is nice. I was left with excellent impressions

1. The hotel is located at the top of a steep climb and not everyone is physically able to visit the springs located at the very bottom of the descent 3 or even 1 time a day. 2. The quality of the food is so poor that it is not acceptable not only for the dietary table, but also for ordinary healthy eating: often over-salted, greasy, covered in heavy dark sauce. Very poor selection of vegetables, dried fruits, confitures and baked goods. 3. Advertised mud and some other unusual procedures can only be obtained for an additional fee.

I really enjoyed my stay at the sanatorium. Quiet, beautiful, next to an Orthodox church. Very attentive staff. As a result of the treatment, the hip joint stopped hurting and by the end of my stay in the sanatorium I could easily, practically run, climb up the mountain, although at the beginning of the treatment it was very difficult to do this because of the pain. The pillow in the room was very uncomfortable - flat and lumpy, I had to put a robe under it. The elevator is very slow, sometimes you had to walk up to the 5th floor.

We rested in Smetana Vysehrad from 01.11 to 15.11.2016. The sanatorium is located in a wonderful location opposite the Cathedral of St. Peter and Paul. The quality of food and treatment is at a very good level, the medical staff is polite and qualified. Swimming pool, sauna, free every day, new treatment facilities, at the highest level. The sanatorium is located on a hill, 10 minutes to the springs. Walking down and 20 minutes back is not tiring but very useful, which we did three times a day. The only negative is the pneumopuncture performed by Peter, which is very painful, especially for women. If this procedure was performed by Art. the nurse had no complaints.
