Poor work at the information desk, in the restaurant it is impossible to eat the food and dishes of one of the chefs (and there are probably two of them). During our stay there was no main doctor, the one who replaced him is not competent, he prescribes procedures thoughtlessly.

We were at Smetana Vyšehrad in Karlovy Vary from January 16 to 27. We are delighted! From the city, from the hotel, the staff is so delicate, friendly, everyone speaks Russian well. I also liked the procedures, especially dry baths, lymphatic drainage and gas injections. In general, all the procedures are wonderful and useful. The doctors and medical staff are professional, tactful... I would like note Dr. Michaella Jakubcova, head nurse and medical block B. Russian speech is everywhere in the city, from the hotel to the Colonnade of Waters it’s not even 15 minutes, but 5-7 minutes if you walk from the church. Now the city has been added to my favorite cities of Prague and Vienna Karlovy Vary. To all the staff and the Smetana Vysehrad hotel and the employees of the Sanatoriums website. Huge, Human Gratitude, I’ve been bothering you for so long, I’m sorry! The only “minus” of the hotel is that the cook cooks too TASTY, it’s impossible to resist and not overeat, it’s too tasty! Unsuccessful replacement of furniture after renovation! (room 205, etc.). The cabinets are very tall and not comfortable for short people! The cabinets are open, without doors, all things are in sight! You walk into your room and you feel like you’re in a dressing room! It's not very nice and not cozy. And in winter, when it snows or rains, there is nowhere to hang your wet clothes! Add wall hangers as they were before the renovation! Sorry, but fix/improve at least something that can be fixed. Very clean and warm room. Part of the floor is heated. Bed with a wonderful mattress and expensive linens. The staff is helpful and polite. We didn't notice any language barrier. My wife and I were there for our birthday, and the hotel presented us with a bottle of Czech wine during dinner. It’s a nice little thing. It’s a pity that we came for a week, now we’re planning for two. We ordered an excursion from the hotel, which we were late for. We decided that the money was irretrievably lost, and only returned to the hotel in the evening. Without any problems, we were offered to return the money or reschedule the excursion. The rest and treatment were a success!

Very nice wellness area with pool, whirlpool, steam sauna and 2 x saunas! Free secure parking at the hotel! The staff is very helpful, the food is of course not a Michelin restaurant but it fits and you can see that the people are trying to make our stay even nicer.

We lived on the 4th floor in a room with a balcony - the furnishings were cozy, the bed and linens were of good quality, the plumbing was great. Room cleaning is done daily. The medical building is decent. The doctor and the main nurse treated us very carefully. All wishes and time are discussed. The procedures were carried out daily, except Sunday. The team is friendly, responsive, friendly, they speak Russian. The meeting with the doctor, Igor Kochubey, took place on the same day, procedures were prescribed, they were scheduled very conveniently by the head nurse, almost one after another. The staff is very welcoming, friendly, no language barrier! Thanks to Mirka, her infectious laughter created a good mood for the whole day, thanks to Magda, she gave paraffin baths to her hands and parafango, a high-class specialist! My wife and I rested and were treated in “Smetana” in June, having gone through several options, we settled on the “Smetana-Vyshegrad” hotel and never regretted it. Everything here is conducive to a relaxing, comfortable stay, and the wonderful team does everything to make this the holiday was problem-free. The rooms were cleaned quickly and efficiently, we were treated by good specialists, and the food was so tasty and varied that we had to convey our gratitude to the chef almost every day. And another pleasant moment is when you enter the hotel and see the friendly smile of the lovely ladies at the reception, ready to help with any of your requests, you begin to feel at home. The hotel is located in a magnificent location, where it is quiet, green and there is plenty to take a walk. Believe me, we didn’t want to leave after 20 days. The hotel for the “four” is very budget and decent, the price-quality ratio is ideal. The room is spacious, clean, has everything you need (for the price). The staff everywhere: at the reception, in the medical department, in the restaurant - friendly, welcoming, always ready to help. Food: tasty, varied: fish (trout, carp, salmon, etc.), lamb, veal; You can also order vegetarian dishes. On the order sheet you can indicate your wishes for preparing dishes; For example, I eat almost no salt, and the cook took this into account! Many thanks to all the hotel staff!! Treatment - as a general practitioner and physiotherapist (25 years of experience), I can say: all the necessary procedures for undergoing a course of sanatorium-resort treatment are available at the sanatorium. To get the effect of the treatment, it is better to consult with your doctor regarding the procedures you need, and the doctor at the sanatorium always listens to this (in my case, this always happens), and then the treatment and Karlovy Vary water will be beneficial!!
