I bought a voucher for my parents for my birthday, because I heard a lot of good reviews about the sanatorium... but I was not satisfied for several reasons: the first is that my parents came up several times to sign up for a trip to Prague, which was included in the price of the voucher, they were told well and well they didn’t write down the kit result and said that there were no places, it was too late... they said that there was room only for a paid trip and not for the one that is included in the price of the tour... secondly, they checked in on Monday, the doctor was only able to examine them on Wednesday( although I was told that there is a doctor every day) and they had to take all their procedures from Wednesday to Friday, that is, in three days, because nothing works on Saturday and Sunday... I really didn’t like these two points...

You should be better informed about how to use the pool... wanted to swim a bit and then join the group for water aerobics so I have to go out! That wasn't so nice! We were very pleased with the treatment, food, and the hotel itself. The first time we booked a hotel without prepayment, we thought that there would be some unpleasant moments when checking in, which we were very worried about. But to our surprise, everything was clear, we checked in immediately, the cost of the hotel remained the same as when booking as part of the promotion. The only thing I would like to lower the rating for is the transfer. Why is there such discrimination - transfer from the airport to the hotel is free, but from the railway station there is a fee?Negatives

One drawback is the distance from the sources and the center. Both the road from the mountain and up the mountain. It is very difficult for the elderly. BUT This is not the fault of the hotel and staff. The city could use a normal pedestrian path. It exists, but you can only walk through it with mountaineering skills. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They speak several languages, and the visitors come from all over the world, which makes it also a socially attractive place. The rooms are very clean, the bathroom is well equipped and very nice, with sparkles in the stone tiles. As far as the treatment is considered, 9 days is probably not enough to really feel the results, but it is all done very professionally: medical intake with a doctor, professional staff and modern equipment. The location is great, a bit outside with the woods right behind the hotel, private parking lot (not free though). It'is only 10 minutes walk to the spa area, but it's steep (approx. 65 m elevation).Negatives

Sanatorium treatment was not our goal, but the week of “pleasant and useful” was 100% worth it. From the spacious Smetana apartment with a beautiful interior, we admired the landscape of the city and the domes of the Peter and Paul Cathedral. Wellness and the pool are small in size, but we got the impression that it was just the two of us. Special thanks for the heated towel rails in the bathroom! Organization of treatment, meals, reception work - everything is very professional and kind! We thank the entire team for our wonderful vacation in our beloved Karlovy Vary!Negatives
Unfortunately, Daria (restaurant) does not correspond to a service worker. We pay for our vacation, and not for dissatisfied grimaces and boorish attitude! There was a lot of dog hair on the carpet in the room, which remained after subsequent cleanings.

The room does not correspond to the description, much too small, at most a single room with a double bed. Wardrobe was missing. Three hangers in the wardrobe, shirts and blouses. Dresses had to stay in the suitcase, individual items with 3 hangers, hung in the wardrobe in front of the mirror. Passage between bed and refrigerator 50 cm. The room was above the kitchen, from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. the extractor ran, correspondingly loud. Balcony with a chair, 2 people could only stand, and the view of the kitchen. Then it was The key for the entrance door of the room was given out several times so that we had an uninvited guest. A lady came into our room with her own key, apparently accidentally. Lunch and dinner were usually cold.
