We vacationed with two small children, everything went great. The staff is friendly, polite, always ready to help. There were no procedures. Breakfasts and dinners are more than hearty and varied. The spa area and pool were excellent, the whole family swam every evening, the children’s joy knew no bounds. The location is excellent, within walking distance from the tourist center. Quiet, near an Orthodox church and a forest. For us it was better than at the colonnades. Thanks a lot! Definitely recommend!Negatives

The holiday was wonderful as always. We fell in love with Karlovy Vary and are happy to return to “our” hotel for 4 years in a row. It’s always nice to meet familiar faces of employees, and regular guests with whom we have established friendly relations. The doctor already has his own statistics and the first interview proceeds smoothly and, most importantly, effectively. The set of necessary procedures corresponds to your condition. I can only repeat myself and once again note the friendliness and affability of all the staff without exception. The rooms are comfortable, clean and, most importantly for winter, warm. Cleaning, replacement of linen and towels in a timely manner and somehow unnoticed. You just come back after breakfast or procedures, and everything is already cleaned. Cozy restaurant. The choice of dishes is sufficient. Everything is delicious and beautifully decorated, and candles at dinner emphasize the coziness and create a pleasant mood. You can write a lot of good things. Can anything else be improved? Of course yes, in small ways, as everywhere else. It is important that we see that the hotel management knows about this and is trying to fix something and improve the service. We see and appreciate these changes. We stayed at Hotel Smetana for 7 days and were very satisfied. A very nice lady welcomed us at the reception, we were welcomed with a lot of humor and respect. The treatments were good, the ladies were all very friendly and accommodating. The food was sufficient and tasted good, but we didn't have anything wrong Missed. Service was very good, we never had to wait. The hotel is small, quiet, good for relaxation, there is a casual atmosphere, very nice. The spa sauna area was also very inviting to relax. Even with half board, a warm main course was served in the evening, which you could choose from 5 different options two days in advance. The rooms were large and clean. Вы заказали полупансион, поэтому мне не понятно, какая диета Вам была нужна, обычно номер диеты у нас назначает врач и если диета нужна, всегда рекомендует полный пансион. Кроме того Вы смогли выбрать из 5 блюд, или конечно из других 5 блюд и прийти уже на обед. We vacationed with our granddaughter for 13 days from October 28, 2019. The holiday turned out to be simply wonderful, thanks not only to the wonderful place - Karlovy Vary, but most importantly - to the entire team of the Smetana Vysehrad Spa Hotel. Karel, who met us first at the hotel and who literally became our good friend, the doctor is very attentive, wonderful girls during the procedures: Missa, Irena, Gretta, Paola, Lenka, in the restaurant - Jan, Helena, everyone is always friendly and ready to help. And a special thank you to the cook, everything was very tasty. The window frames in the room may be old, but what an extraordinary view they offer!!! The hotel may be located a little high, but how useful it is to walk three times (at least) to the springs and not gain weight from the delicious food in the restaurant!!! In the evening you can go to the sauna or swimming pool. In short, we liked everything. I would also like to note the work of Sanatorium.com: everything is clear, attentive and thoughtful. The main goal of choosing this particular hotel - the need to move - was achieved: visiting the springs three times a day gave at least 10,000 steps on the pedometer. The main complaints do not seem to depend on the hotel, as they are common to all Karlovy Vary hotels. This is carpet in the rooms and in the restaurant. It’s scary to imagine how much dirt will accumulate in the rooms - after all, the carpets are not wet cleaned after each client. This is a change in bathing technology over the years: previously, you were helped out of the bath, wrapped in a sheet and blanket, and left to lie there for another 10 minutes. Now you get out of the bath on your own, holding on to the side and thinking about how not to fall off the ladder while taking a bath. It should be taken into account that the hall for waiting for procedures (in particular, gas injections) is essentially a staircase with cold drafts. Therefore, it is better to dress warmly rather than in dressing gowns. Poor soundproofing of rooms (in the Vysehrad building). I had a wonderful rest from October 20-31, the hotel did not disappoint expectations, a cozy double room 107, a pleasant smell in the room, fragrant gel in the bathroom, a comfortable mattress, the room was very warm. Friendly staff, everyone is polite and attentive. The doctor asked questions in great detail and prescribed good treatment. I liked the head nurse and all the medical staff, the work is 5+, everything is on time, cleanliness, professionalism, care, everyone speaks Russian well. Massage, injections, baths, everything is super. A nice, warm pool with a view of the pine trees, through a glass wall, was very pleasing. Wonderful waiters, despite the restaurant being full, were always there, quickly served, cleaned up and always with a smile - thank you very much, I can’t name names, the font on the badge is very small. The cook is good, I liked the fish, everything was tasty and edible. They were cleaned every day, the bed was changed every three days.
