Not all guests consider the hotel to be non-smoking. The staff at the reception turns a blind eye to this, because... smokers themselves. Either they or the head nurse do not tell guests that they need to sign up for the pool and sauna. Therefore, it turns out to be pandemonium. There was a case when we were having classes with an instructor in the water, and then a couple came to swim. Well, of course, the instructor asked for them. The head nurse seems to be attentive and polite, but she will do it anyway in her own way. I had to contact her with one question 4 times and still it turned out according to her, and in retaliation I was given 6 procedures in one day, barely having time to have breakfast. Wonderful hotel with very good service staff, responsive to any request. Within 10 days of my stay I felt the results after the treatment procedures. My lower back, which I had been complaining about, stopped hurting. I hope the effect is not so short-lived. Excellent wellness center, with an excellent jacuzzi, Kneipp path and 3 saunas. The pool is small, but free to use, and allows you to relax :). The hotel is located on a hill, but there is a short (5 minute walk) road through the stairs (about 80 steps), with an exit opposite the Thermal Hotel. There is a forested area nearby where you can take walks.

The kitchen is terrible, not even worthy of 2 stars. Eggs for breakfast are black - they are heated probably 10 times. The baked goods are not the first or even the second freshest. The choice of salads is minimal - tomatoes, cucumbers, red cabbage, white cabbage - everything!!! (for dinner there is also a small outlet with a snack; For dinner the same tomatoes and cucumbers are already sour, only seasoned with oil. Porridge on water without adding salt or milk - well, that’s okay, probably designed for sick stomachs - there is no distribution among treatment tables - everyone eats the same thing and also. The only fruits are apples - once I actually saw 2 bananas and one kiwi.

Unfortunately, I didn’t like the food. Small choice. Not tasty. The staff doesn’t look and doesn’t have time to bring the missing products on time. The tables are not very clean. The rooms are cleaned, but not always conscientiously. When you check in, there are some leftovers on the floor and in the sink in the bathroom then hair. The rooms have carpeting that has not been cleaned in the corners for a long time. The hotel has a swimming pool - very small, only two or three people can swim. The treatment cannot be called serious. Anyone who has been treated in Lithuania will agree. Baths that are prescribed for unknown reasons - you just lie in plain warm water - the water is not minimal!!!. Mud baths are paid, but also useless - the cat cried mud in them. Injections with carbon dioxide - they are also of no use. Massage also cannot be called good. The impression of spaciousness in the room is worsened by the neglected state of the windows (paint peeling, broken handles) and the terrible creaking of the floors in the room. But the most negative impression remained from the food. If breakfast can still be rated 3.5-4, then dinner is just 2-2.5. The food for dinner (we didn’t have lunch, but according to the guests, the quality was the same as in the evening) was completely tasteless, regularly overcooked/overdried, sometimes even just at room temperature. For breakfast, our cook even managed to distort the buckwheat and oatmeal porridge absolutely horribly. Nearby is an Orthodox church. The sources are within a 10-15 minute walk through the beautiful streets of the city (if you don’t mind the physical exertion of climbing). When choosing a hotel next time I will also consider Smetanu Vyšehrad.

I would like the food to be more dietary. because people with diseases of the gastrointestinal tract come to the resort. I would like at least some rooms to have firmer mattresses, as many people suffer from spinal diseases. Shower stalls should have anti-slip mats or handles that you can hold on to - a lot of older people can slip and fall. Lunch time could be extended to 3 hours - the hotel is located a bit far from the springs.

The hotel does not have air conditioning. In the summer it is very annoying. We were lucky because... it wasn't hot. We rested for 8 days and paid for 17 procedures. I would like to think that by mistake, both my husband and I were prescribed 4 fewer procedures. After contacting the reception, the mistake was promptly corrected. It seems that this practice is used everywhere. Other vacationers encountered the same problem.
