In the room (215 and, as far as we know, some others) you can hear the elevator. Unpleasant. Either soundproofing or elevator adjustment is needed. Or both. We stayed at the Smetana Vysehrad hotel from September 1 to September 15, 2019. We visited Karlovy Vary for the first time and were very pleased, also thanks to this hotel. It is located in a picturesque place, near the forest. All recreational facilities are within comfortable walking distance; it takes about 25 minutes to walk at a leisurely pace to the farthest healing spring. This option was more than suitable for us, since we deliberately looked for a sanatorium with the possibility of walking. Representatives of "Sanatoriums" met us at the airport on time and took us to the hotel. In the cozy and pleasant hotel lobby, we were promptly checked in and settled into a comfortable, clean, small room, which is ideal for a couple. The room had everything you needed (including bathrobes and slippers). Cleaning was carried out daily, bed linen was changed every three days. The food in the restaurant was quite varied, and if it ran out, it was quickly replenished. We especially liked the second courses from the chef to order, everything was beautifully decorated, a lot of vegetables, a wide variety of teas, salads, cold cuts and pastries. The waiters were polite and helpful. The restaurant was cozy and, as a rule, not crowded. During the excursion, they provided you with packed lunches or brought dinner to your room. The head doctor of the hotel is a professional in her field, she asked in detail about our condition and existing diseases, prescribed the necessary treatment, and carried out a second examination a week later. The rest of the medical staff were also very polite and attentive. We liked all the prescribed treatment procedures; the hotel has a small swimming pool and free saunas, which we enjoyed using. Overall, it is a very quiet, peaceful, beautiful and pleasant place. The hotel has a good ratio of price and quality of service provided. I would like to thank all the employees of the establishment for their friendliness, professionalism and responsiveness, special thanks to Jana, Jan, Helena (waiters), Vaclav (chef), Zuzanna and Lenka (nurses), Radek (masseur), Dana (administrator), Eva Chekhova ( director). We recommend this hotel and plan to return here ourselves! It felt like I had come with a trade union voucher to a sanatorium from the times of the Soviet Union, and not with my own money and to a sanatorium of the European level. I was denied many procedures, citing the fact that I had high blood pressure, did not have a course of drinking water, and much more. For example, aqua aerobics was refused, paraffin on hands and knees. Although with high blood pressure, on the contrary, such physical activity is needed. I wasn't the only one who experienced high blood pressure at a resort. I got the impression that the doctor was saving the “trade union” money on me by not giving me practically any procedures. She generally said that with such pressure you need to stay at home. I didn’t ask her to give me advice and I know better where to be and where to sit. And then I paid for the treatment, and didn’t come for nothing! Well, the food: it was very meager, there was practically no choice. Наш врач имеет 35 лет опыта с курортным лечением, поэтому знает, что себя пациент с высоким давлением может позволит. Тем более, если это пациент, как Вы, которой при вступительном осмотре скажет, что не соблюдает лечение высокого давления и не принимает лекарства, которые ему назначил врач. Значить наш врач Вам назначил 51 процедуру так, что бы Вам это было не вредно. Кроме того Вам наш врач обеспечил услуги хирурга, когда у Вас былы проблемы с коленом – все таки, что эты услуги уже в путёвку не включены. По поводу питания, на обед и ужин Вы всегда попробовали не множко од каждого из 8 салатов, попробовали оба супа, со всем сьели главное блюдо (которое выбрали из 5 блюд) и дессерт. Потом Вы всегда еще в ресторане посидели в фруктами и чаем (которой предлагаем бесплатно) Поэтому нам казалось, что еда вкусная. Так как Вам первый полученный номер не понравился, наша директор Вам предложила 2 другие номера, один из них Вы выбрали и переселились. Но все таки Вы к сожалению второй день опять подошли к директору и были не довольны, она снова Вам предложила переселение, но Вы ей сказали, что Ваша внучка уже переселиться не хочет. По поводу Ваших претензий к белю мы в восторге, с таким не встретились, номер сейчас проверили и ничего не нашли, жаль, что Вы это не сказали директору, могла сразу ситуацию решить, при сегодняшнем контроле было все, как и должно быть. Linen is changed 2-3 times a week. The robe and slippers can be changed at any time. The dining room is always clean, tidy, pleasant atmosphere and music. There is enough food. It may seem monotonous, but I believe that this is how the diet should be during the course of treatment. The only negative that I cannot help but mention does not apply to the hotel. But I would like others not to spoil their rest and treatment. Transfer. We were brought from Prague airport to Karlovy Vary via....Mariinskie Lazne! Without warning. Most likely we would have chosen a different option. And this is + 2 hours drive. This did not improve my health!!! The answer is simple: group transfer. But the easiest way is to brush it off, instead of thinking about the fact that the majority of those who come are elderly and/or unhealthy people. This is not our first time in Karlovy Vary, but this is the first time we have encountered such a thoughtless and unprofessional approach to business and people. Which undermines trust in the company. Our advice: when ordering, do not be shy and discuss your arrival at your holiday destination. Which is what we did the day before leaving the hotel. В кабинете рядом, где происходит электролечение, отключился не понятно почему аппарат и издавал громкий звук. Поэтому массажист подошла решить ситуацию и когда к Вам вернулась, уже Вас не было. Мне очень жаль, что эта ситуация не произошла более понятно и что Вы так поняли, что массаж плохой. Будем стараться, что бы больше таких ситуаций не было и что бы Вы у нас в следующий раз были очень довольны и Ваш отпуск не мещало вообще ничего. Желаем Вам всего доброго и крепкого здоровья! Жаль, что Вам не понравилься номер 101, но другим клиентам он наоборот нравится, он не большой, очень уютный и вид из него на лесопарк. Это тоже номер, которой видно в презентации компании sanatoriums.com. Конечно, если посмотрите из окна в низ, увидите стену а прямо из окна видно природу. Но конечно понимаем, что каждому нрявиться другое. Отель расположен в историческом здании, каждый номер другой, поэтому и я уверена, что для каждого у нас номер, которой именно ему подходит, так как Вам например № 112.
