The pool and sauna are not on the same floor, Unfortunately, the sauna was only open until 20:00. We arrived on Saturday, the doctor was only assigned to us on Monday. 23 procedures were distributed over 5 days, although we were in the sanatorium for 9 days. Access to the pool/sauna and all procedures is through the reception desk; running back and forth in the cold room is not very comfortable. There is not enough gym.

A big plus point for this sanatorium would be at least a small gym. And so that the sauna is not open until 20:00, but at least until 21:00.

Sorry, but if the doctor finds out that the man has Carona 2 days before departure then the doctor is not allowed to send me home. Insurance would have covered the additional costs. So we had to take care of the return transfer ourselves (530 euros) hopefully I didn't infect the driver. I would especially like to note the work of the doctor, who is a professional in her field. The service in the restaurant was great! We greeted you with a smile on our face and a kind word. Yana and Rene created a cozy atmosphere and I always wanted to see them as soon as possible. The rooms and the hotel itself were clean, for which many thanks to the staff!! - Sometimes the staff in the application and treatment area is not always friendly. - A very big disadvantage and minus point was that we arrived on Monday and only had our initial examination with the spa doctor on Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. and the treatment plan was assigned. As a result, the 36 application appointments were very tight within the 7.5 treatment days. In addition, we were not able to take part in the included excursion to Prague. Sanatoriums.com, on the other hand, did not show any concessions either; as the excursion is a free additional offer. But it was crucial for our booking!!! -Unfortunately, the reception (apart from Mr. Pawel) was not willing to provide any information or tried to provide clarification. Most of the time we just got a “sorry” in response. Interest in requests and indications of grievances were not taken into account. - Unfortunately, the steam bath did not work properly the entire time. - When the hotel was fully occupied, the wellness area, including the swimming pool, was far too small - as was the dining room. There was an alternative option to eat in the lobby bar, but this was a windowless room.

I didn't find all therapists really professional. In my opinion, relaxation also includes a quiet atmosphere. Unfortunately, this was only rarely adhered to. People were talking very loudly. Or even in the same room where the therapy was taking place, tea was made and packaging crackled loudly. So that relaxation was not possible.

The location of the hotel is fantastically beautiful!!! The staff is very friendly !!! Hoter is very clean. The restaurant is very cozy, the tables have white tablecloths and cloth napkins!!! There was always a candle on the table for dinner. The staff is super hostile and helpful! I had a hotel stay for 1 week and the bed linen was changed after 3 days. Great!!! Bathrobe and terry slippers are specially wrapped in foil! Bathrobe super soft and cozy! It was a great week in the Spa Hotel Villa Smetana!!! Thanks!Negatives
My room had a view of the park, which was also very nice, but I assume it was also directly above the kitchen. When you opened the window, it smelled a lot like food. The mattress was a bit too soft for me but still OK. The bath and towels are soft but a bit old.

I especially thank the staff of the entire hotel for their clear attitude towards Patients. All employees speak Czech, Russian and German, at a minimum, and also English. And French. Excellent catering, the menu was not repeated in 7 days, a variety of dishes, you choose yourself to suit your taste. Different types of bread, pastries, fruits, salads, hot dishes: beef, fish, poultry, pork daily. Everything is very tasty, I want to try everything. For a month now I have been asking the sanatorium to provide me with an invoice for the procedure in euros for my health company, but nothing has been helpful. When I was at the sanatorium, I didn’t know that a separate bill was needed, but now there’s nothing I can get from them. They have already called and written many times, but they only promise and do not deliver. It's a pity!
