We vacationed at the Ambassador Hotel from June 13 to June 23, 2017 and can recommend this hotel for a vacation. The rooms are excellent, very comfortable, modern, clean. The treatment is high quality, all procedures are useful and effective. The doctor is smart and very experienced. Special thanks to the chefs - respect!! The food is not just tasty and healthy, but also exquisite. For gourmets - they will appreciate it!! If it’s fish, it melts in your mouth, meat with such sauces that “you can eat bast shoes” with them, many different delicious salads... If you are “virtually healthy”, this is the right place. Please note that the sources are about one and a half kilometers from the hotel, and three times a day for three kilometers... We liked it because it is an excellent workout for the leg muscles and for the heart, but calculate your strength...

Very beautiful hotel "Ambassador", service, food was very good, linen was changed daily, bathrobes were changed quite often. The staff is very welcoming and friendly. Despite the fact that the hotel was located quite far from the sources (20 minutes of fast walking and 25 minutes of normal walking one way), we found this a plus - walking on foot is very useful and even with such good nutrition we lost a little weight and were always in tone. The treatment, with some reservations, is also very good and has a beneficial effect on the body, tone and mood. We hope to come there next year.Negatives
The only downside to the schedule of treatment procedures was that the drinking regime, the timing of meals and procedures did not always coincide well. Some nurses, perhaps due to the large number of patients, forgot to remove the device on time and had to do it themselves.

The location of the hotel, excellent service, the friendly attitude of all hotel staff, delicious and high-quality food, the professionalism of the medical staff. The administration and reception were always ready to help us and answer any of our requests, wishes and questions. Check-in and check-out were very fast and smooth. Doctor Tatyana Petrovna Krotova was very attentive to our problems and gave very useful advice. The nurse and staff at the spa were very caring and patient with us. The service and food in the restaurant are simply excellent. Everything is very tasty, high quality and varied. Pleasant music in the restaurant and in the relaxation room where the sauna is located improves your mood and appetite. The hotel is very clean and the staff are very diligent about keeping things clean and tidy. The hotel has a wonderful bar with live music and a concert hall with good acoustics, where you can hear highly professional musicians. The only negative thing was that we were asked at the reception to vacate the room before 11:30, but we had to leave at 12:30. This really spoiled the impression of the hotel, so I give the staff a 2. We had to sit at the station for an hour, although when we left the room no one rushed to clean it. And another minus is that the water is very far away, we only went once a day.

The choice was made due to the availability of the latest equipment and a rare procedure for Karlovy Vary, aimed at accelerating recovery after prolonged stress in combination with residual effects after injury (audiovisual programs for the brain, I am a doctor and deeply versed in this technique). The hotel pool is a bit small, and it takes about 20-25 minutes to get to the springs, 40 minutes there and back, this is certainly useful, but sometimes tiring (for older people). And everything is wonderful. I want to come back!

For me personally, the road to the source was 20 minutes (6 11 6). For arthrosis of the knee joints and problems with the spine, it’s a bit far. In more difficult situations, people walked 30 minutes to the source. They, just like I, read on your website that the walk to the springs is 10 minutes. I think you need to indicate the distance from the hotel to the springs in kilometers, and then everyone will decide how long it will take them to cover this distance. There was another unpleasant moment: During the initial examination, the doctor prescribed 43 for me, and 41 for my husband, instead of 54. I had to go back and deal with this situation. It would be good to know in advance that no more than how many procedures of the same name can be offered so that you can choose. I was prescribed 5 manual massages during my 21 night stay, my husband - 6. This seems to me not entirely correct. Still, treatment should be systematic, at least every other day, 3 procedures of the same name per week.

This is our second time staying at this resort and we like everything. Every day a walk to the springs, resulting in 6 obligatory kilometers a day; if we lived next to the springs, we probably wouldn’t walk that much a day, we’d be lazy. The food is excellent, at least for us, and the time for breakfast, lunch and dinner is 3 hours, which allows you to easily plan your day. When you check in, the rooms are equipped with bathrobes and slippers, which you will wear during the procedures, which is very convenient. The sanatorium has good health and treatment facilities, a schedule of procedures is carefully drawn up, which allows you to receive procedures without delays or expectations. The medical staff is attentive, everyone speaks Russian. I especially liked the classic massage. The food is buffet style, the restaurant has a nice interior, the cuisine is wide, the food is tasty, but often monotonous. Wide selection of desserts. The waiters work well, but when there was an influx of vacationers, they did not always have time to clean tables and change cutlery. The reception staff are very attentive and prudent, they always met us halfway. The doormen prudently opened the doors for us and were very friendly. In the hotel building there is a bar with its own brewery, where, as we were told, the best beer in Karlovy Vary and excellent cuisine, there is also a concert hall and the Calibri entertainment club with live music. In a word, we liked everything. We strongly recommend this sanatorium for relaxation and treatment.
