Location: it’s really not very close to the springs, and for those who have problems with walking, it will probably not be very convenient to walk and drink water 3 times a day. But for those who came primarily to drink water, this is a great place. Slow walks before meals of 1.5-2 km (back and forth three times a day) are only beneficial (tested). Very convenient for short trips, because... There is a bus station nearby. 2. Hotel. Beautiful old building, high ceilings, fairly large rooms. Modern decoration inside, everything is comfortable and clean. The staff is friendly. In addition to towels, the room includes flip flops and bathrobes, which are recommended to be worn during treatment procedures. 3. Treatment. Only positive emotions remained. The staff are polite and professional. They are helpful if questions arise (change procedures, time, etc.). We took massages, water and beauty treatments, gas injections - we really liked everything. Everywhere is clean and tidy. Maybe the beginning of October is not yet the season for tourists, but we were almost always alone in the pool. You can calmly swim, go to saunas, and relax in the spa area. The medical staff cares about your comfort and health. Communication with a doctor is a pure formality. She does not give any recommendations or advice; she is not interested in extracts and analyzes from the medical record. 4. Nutrition. We took breakfast and dinner. Dinner was sometimes changed for lunch (no problems). The food is beyond praise. There are both dietary and regular dishes. Tasty and varied. No one will go hungry for sure. They gave fish, meat, and poultry. In two weeks the soups were not repeated even once! 5. There were only positive emotions left from the holiday. The hotel is decent. We stayed at the Hotel Ambassador in Karlovy Vary for 21 days. The accommodation was very good, we had 21 treatments per week of massages, carbon dioxide baths, acupuncture and more. There was water aerobics and recreational swimming in the house's swimming pool. The staff was very friendly and always helpful. Linguistically everything goes through English, partly German. It was important to us that all applications were in-house. The meals, breakfast and dinner, were always in the form of a buffet and very varied. We will certainly go there again.Negatives

We were totally disappointed with the food. Little selection and inferior quality. You could really work on that. The cleaning lady in the sauna area really needs to go. The pool/sauna area closes at 8:00 p.m. The good woman set the clock forward by what felt like 15 minutes and kicked everyone out at 7:55 p.m. according to this clock. Already at 7:30 p.m. all visitors were killed with hateful looks that no one dared to go there again in the evening. This had a huge impact on the holiday mood. I don't want to make everything bad, but I wouldn't go on vacation again, at least not in the AMBASSADOR. The food itself was OK in terms of what was on offer, but everything was not only low in salt but also prepared completely without salt. I was a little missing the rolls but you can overlook that. The cleanliness leaves a lot to be desired. Tables in the room wouldn't be wiped down once in 1 week. Also the sinks. Stayed at the hotel for the fourth time. I like the location of the hotel, comfortable rooms, good medical facilities. Delicious breakfasts, dinners are much more modest than they were three years ago, but everything is still tasty, not enough fruit. This year I had problems with my back, and I fully felt the lack of normal pillows. Towels are no longer changed every day unless you ask. At best, once every three days (I lived on the first floor). Maybe it was tedious to throw it on the floor? But this is not Türkiye, really. Previously, they changed them every day, regardless of where they lay or hung. This is my third time in K.Vary. I decided to try the Ambassador. I realized that I had made a mistake five minutes later. We arrived at the hotel for lunch, and they immediately offered us lunch. We entered the restaurant and were slightly taken aback, it looks more like a wide corridor with tables, or a third-rate canteen with a small room. The food was also completely disappointing. I have never seen such a meager and monotonous menu in sanatoriums anywhere. I often go to Kislovodsk to sanatoriums, there is simply abundance there compared to Ambassador. The savings are complete. I’m not even talking about sanatoriums in Karlovy Vary. You don’t have to bother with evening clothes; people wear shorts and flip-flops for dinner here. Breakfast is poor and the same thing every day. There is no coffee machine. In general, if you want to get moral satisfaction from eating, then you’re definitely in for it not here. The pillows in the room were flatbreads with lumps of centipon inside. I asked to change them, they said they could bring more pillows. I had to sleep on two flatbreads made from lumps of centipon. The exercise machines are right in the corridor along the path from the elevator to the oxygen room. For some reason no one was working out. There is a small pool and a sauna. The sauna is on the floor above the pool. If you want to drink water three times a day, it’s difficult to combine it with procedures and meals. It’s a long walk, and no one changes the time of procedures. Or rather, for 5 euros you can. My conclusion. The first two trips to K. Vary left an excellent impression.
