For more than 20 years she vacationed in Kislovodsk at the Zarya sanatorium. If we compare, in Kislovodsk they provide more procedures and many preventive procedures (gum irrigation, gynecology and many others), the quality of the procedures provided is equally good. The food at AMBASADOR is more varied, one might even say tastier, more refined... the only bad thing is that it’s a buffet - I’ve gained weight...))) The location of AMBASADOR suits me - the water, the mountains nearby, and relative silence. There are more mountain paths in Karlovy Vary, no matter how much I love my Kislovodsk. Although the mountain landscapes in Kislovodsk are more picturesque and varied... For the money - almost the same thing. Minus/plus of Karlovy Vary - GOOD shopping: I almost spent all the money (this happens to me extremely rarely) and could not devote every second half of the day to walks in the mountains (what about shopping?..). I'm glad I tried Vary, and I think I'll go here next year. Yes, and the excursions are educational and varied.Negatives
I would define one negative - the AMBASSADOR apparently has general air conditioning. This is bad for me. I asked the reception several times to just turn off my air conditioner - they sent a specialist to take a look, they advised me to open the window and the air conditioner would automatically turn off... but, alas... it seems they themselves didn’t know that it was impossible to turn off the air conditioner individually in one room or... .they just pretended that they wanted and could do it...

The sanatorium is located on a pedestrian street. Nearby are shops, supermarkets, a bus station, and the Becherovka Museum. Very comfortably. The sources are about 15 minutes one way. The staff is wonderful and responsive. The food was wonderful.Negatives

The spa system is a bit mechanical, a kind of conveyor belt, but they are all pros, and, most importantly, I feel the real effect of the procedures. Hammam is excellent and nice small pool with jacuzzi. Knowledgeable and friendly doctor. Location: on the one hand, it is very good that you had to walk 1.5 km to the colonnade (9 km per day), but if someone, like me, has 5-6 procedures in the morning, find this half an hour (or more), drinking water half an hour before meals is sometimes difficult. In the summer of 2016 we vacationed in Karlovy Vary for the ninth time (sanatoriums: Kolonada, Garden Pramen, Pavlov's House, Royal Regent). I want to return to Ambassador: highly qualified medical staff, cozy and comfortable rooms, excellent cuisine, high-quality, well-organized procedures. I would especially like to note the work of the head physician of the sanatorium, Irena Tsipova: an individual approach to patients, professionalism, human charm and the desire to make the stay in the sanatorium comfortable. After three weeks of treatment at Ambassador, I had the feeling that such quality rest and treatment had never happened before. We are planning to book a stay with you in the summer of 2017. As a wish, none of the sanatoriums in which I vacationed had such a mess with massage therapists. Every day there is a new person, with his own methodology. Very uncomfortable. It is unclear whether there is any result. Yes, and I would like to see the massage therapists themselves more professional. The pool is very inconvenient because there are no separate changing rooms and no hair dryers.

Tea and coffee only for breakfast. You should definitely have tea for lunch and dinner for several reasons (in cool weather you don’t want to drink cold water, especially if you have a cold or are sick).

This was my first time booking a hotel on your website and I’m glad that everything you promised coincided with reality. The hotel, after renovation, shines with newness, the staff is friendly, always ready to help, solve all problems, speaks Russian well. The kitchen is excellent. All medical procedures were beneficial. Nice pool with a jacuzzi - you can always find time to swim if you want when there are few visitors there. A small drawback was that the hotel is located far from the mineral water sources prescribed by the doctor, and every day we had to walk a total of more than 2 km there and back. And at a fast pace in order to be in time for both procedures and breakfast. On the other hand, walking is good for your health, so this “disadvantage” is not that big of a deal!

The only negative is the accommodation. The receptionist Ondrej, despite my request to be placed in a quiet room because... I have problems sleeping, I was given room 120, where there are 2 pubs and 3 parking lots under the window - I had to sleep with the window closed, my request to be moved to the other side was refused? In addition, this Ondrej for some reason decided to check my visa and allowed himself to ask I received incorrect questions, which was an unpleasant surprise. Upon arrival, we had to carry our suitcases along the stairs ourselves - no one helped. When leaving, Ondrej silently took the keys, did not say goodbye - behaved inappropriately?

1) The nurse who scheduled the procedures for me and my mother mixed up our sources, and we drank the wrong water for the first 4 days! 2) On the day before departure, when the room was cleaned, we were not given any soap or shampoo, and the towels were not changed. 3) Problems with plumbing: leaking from under the sink (fixed), after a shower there is always water near the wall, both taps with hot and cold water were leaking - not fixed, even though we reported it. 4) Midges were flying over the vegetables, the last few days the food was completely tasteless, there was no choice of side dishes even for those who don’t eat pork (there are quite a few of them!) 5) Once they offered burnt potatoes as a side dish. It was impossible to eat, I had to complain to the cook!
