Not all hotel staff followed precautions in the fight against the corona virus. This was especially annoying in the restaurant, especially given the situation in the Czech Republic where the number of infected people is rapidly and constantly growing.

1. I didn’t like how the room was cleaned - cleaning takes 5 minutes maximum. During this time, the garbage is taken out, towels are replaced and half a minute is spent cleaning the toilet. We have seen this many times. They vacuum and wipe off dust only after a complaint to the reception desk. The same applies to changing bed linen. In more than 2 weeks they changed it 3 times, and then each time after complaints, but they should have changed it every 3 days. 2. The food was not very impressive. At lunch there was generally a very small choice of dishes, and the food was lukewarm all the time. Breakfast and dinner were ok. In my opinion, breakfast coffee made from a huge titanium is at least not respectable for a 4-star hotel. I think the hotel could afford a coffee machine. 3. We didn’t like the doctor either; during the “examination” she didn’t even take my blood pressure. As far as I understand, the doctor comes to the hotel only when new vacationers arrive. 4. The pool is very small. No problem, only 2 people can swim there so as not to disturb each other. 5. The water in the jacuzzi is the same temperature as in the pool. And if the temperature is normal for a pool, then for a jacuzzi, where you are supposed to sit for a long time without moving, it is uncomfortable. 6. Not all procedures that are advertised on the sanatoriums website are included in the package. Some had to be paid for separately (for example, for the shock wave).Answer from Grandhotel Ambassador

Neither the table nor the bedside tables were wiped down. , in 7 days there was never a change of bed. The windows are very dirty. The air conditioning doesn't work well, it's impossible to sleep in the heat, it's hot. If you open the windows, there is noise from the street until the morning, screams and laughter from the restaurants located below, after the restaurants close, the screams of drunken groups walking around. Good location of the hotel, there are many things nearby such as shops, bus station, parks. The staff at reception mostly speak German or Russian. The room was clean and spacious, nice bathroom. My husband and I vacationed in the month of February at the Ambassador Hotel. We liked the hotel, convenient location, spacious room, comfortable beds. Clean and comfortable. Bed sheets were changed once a week, towels and bathrobes were changed upon request. Everything is very thoughtful and efficient. Wonderful cuisine, everything is always fresh and tasty. Thanks to the chefs. Excellent baked goods (3 times a day) and never repeated. Lots of fruits and vegetables. The waiters are great. Thanks to Sveta at the restaurant, who helped us navigate the restaurant on the first day, showed and explained everything. Excellent honey. staff . Especially many thanks to Marina (gas injections) for her individual approach. We were very pleased with our stay at this hotel. It's great that it has its own parking. I recommend.Negatives
We tried not to notice any special negativity, but... 1. A formal appointment with a doctor (no one asked about the procedures in particular, they prescribed it and that was it). They offer procedures for which you have to pay separately. 2. For confirmation of completion of procedures for the health insurance company, we paid 300 CZK separately.
