There are constant queues for breakfast and dinner, plus the restaurant’s work has been reduced because people do not have time to have breakfast due to procedures and queues. 4. when congresses take place there are generally not enough places. The chef in the restaurant is harsh and unfriendly to Russian speakers!!! 5 food: the choice is not great so to speak. for 2 weeks practically did not change. People often didn't have enough coffee for breakfast. There were few fruits, a couple of times there were watermelons that were no longer sour and not fresh. The hotel is not a restaurant, but a dining room. The food is very economical, although the taste is not bad. For a 4-star hotel this is very modest. The cleaning staff's work is terrible. We really liked the Ambassador, as did Karlovy Vary itself. The city is much more comfortable than Prague, but you can spend time usefully thanks to the healing springs. Hotel: Environment much too loud. Sirens from the emergency ambulance every hour during the day. In the evening and at night there was noise from the attached outdoor area of the Pilsner Urquell restaurant, which was directly below our windows. Disco on Saturday. Hardly possible to sleep with the windows open. Since the air conditioning wasn't running, it was necessary to open the windows. No luggage service upon arrival. We had to bring our suitcases to our rooms ourselves from the hotel parking lot, which was a hundred meters away. Upon departure we were offered luggage service by the reception. Despite being offered a choice of pillows, we couldn't get a feather pillow. Due to a plastic allergy, we wanted to replace the pillows. We were offered another pillow with plastic filling. Room cleaning: towels were changed and the trash cans were emptied daily. Bed linen was changed after a week. The wine glasses were only cleaned when requested (with the same cloth that was also used to wipe the tables!). The room floors were not cleaned in two weeks. Food selection: Monotonous. Fish (mackerel or salmon) and meat are usually cooked/fried until very dead. Parking lot: There is a barrier at the front and at the back you can easily drive away with the stolen car over a small threshold as the polders do not completely block off the rear area. Das Hotel befindet sich im Stadtzentrum, daher kann es insgesamt an Wochenenden ein sehr beliebtes Ziel sein. Das Hotel verfügt auch über die berühmte Music Bar Kakadu und die Orpheum Hall, wo das Karlovy Vary Symphony Orchestra regelmäßig auftritt. Wir sind auch das kulturelle Zentrum von Karlovy Vary, weil das Hotel oft eine sehr lebendige Atmosphäre hat. Die Stadtgebühr ist eine obligatorische Gebühr, die von jedem Gast zu zahlen ist und ab September 2021 von der Stadt auf 35 CZK pro Person erhöht wird. Wir haben kürzlich die Speisekarte geändert. Die Gebühr für den Verfahrensplan oder dessen Änderung beträgt 150 CZK.
