The facade, like most hotels, is beautiful with a view of Sadovaya Street. But the opposite wall faces the rock, so you need to take this into account when booking a room... The reception staff are friendly. friendly young people. Friendly girls from Ukraine work in the restaurant / we had Dasha / and the same girls clean the rooms. Nutrition? Well what can I say? 3 star hotel and hard times...so it lives up to that, pretty good.Negatives

In the reviews about the doctor they wrote very softly; “unwillingness to talk with patients.” The initial examination is a hasty appointment of procedures without taking into account the diagnosis and wishes of the patient and the imposition of procedures that I do not need. It’s good that this is not the first time I have been treated in Karlovy Varah and I know what I need and how many pieces, I just had to “knock out” what I needed. Of course, doctor Chlupova, in the position of chief physician, allows himself such behavior. This is the opinion of many who had an appointment with her. I would like to see another doctor...M/sisters work with a high workload, because the hotel is huge and being late for the procedure even 5 minutes is unacceptable.

Krivan is conveniently located near all sources. Treatment is prescribed according to indications, but it can be changed if something does not suit you. I really liked how Marta performed the procedures, she was a pleasant and inviting girl! In general, all the medical staff are very friendly. The food was tasty and varied, despite negative reviews on the Internet - there was enough food for everyone! The girls in the restaurant know a lot about their work: we didn’t have to wait a minute, we especially liked Anna. In the evenings, you can spend the evening in the bar without leaving the sanatorium. At the reception they give information patiently and clearly. I think I'll come back here again!Negatives
Cons: - at first I was put in a room with a smell, but... I have allergies, they provided me with another room without any problems, - a very small sauna, - there are steps in several places that could be smoothed out to make it easier to carry luggage and easier for people with musculoskeletal disorders to walk.

Very bad food. Organized by menu type. The name of the dish does not correspond to reality. For example: a fish casserole is a piece of bun or something like a bun with the smell of fish. A chicken chop is something reminiscent of a cutlet, but it looks porous like a sponge and there’s not even a hint of meat. And such is the story with everything else. The menu contains only the name, without specifics. The sixth course offers only cold dishes, and “cold” ones: these are taken out of the freezer about an hour before eating. We ordered assorted vegetables. I couldn’t even imagine that for dinner, as the main course, they would bring defrosted ice-cold vegetables. I sometimes add these to soup at home when there is nothing else. The portions are small and it’s generally difficult for me to understand how this can be enough for a man. There is also something to say about the dishes offered as a buffet: The amount of food does not correspond to the number of people. Taking dessert is quite a stroke of luck. If you haven’t arrived at the start of breakfast or dinner, then your problem. The trays are empty. You need to run into the restaurant when it opens and have time to grab everything. That's why people take more than they need and others don't have enough. But if you don’t take it right away, then you won’t get it at all. I have never experienced such service even in a 2 star hotel. And besides, everything is very salty and seasoned. There is no need to talk about dietary nutrition. But there is a plus: you can lose weight)) I would like to note that the staff in the restaurant is very kind and I would like to say a special thank you to Maria, she tried her best. It is very common that procedures are scheduled early and you end up arriving late for breakfast. Here you have to choose either breakfast or procedures.. Now, as for the doctors: my friend and I were with the children. And we can say that we were lucky to get to an adequate doctor in this hotel. Many thanks to doctor Sofia for this!!! Many people complain about rudeness and indifference on the part of doctors. Which is very strange for this category of spa treatment, when people pay money and have to endure rudeness. I had to help an elderly woman who caught a cold in the pool. She was afraid to go to the doctor. and I was shocked by the visit to the doctor. “Go take Ibuprofen” is the whole answer. And she didn’t ask whether the patient actually had it or not. I barely persuaded the doctor to listen to my lungs. But even this made little sense. Ibuprofen and that's it. It’s good that I took a supply of medicines with me. By the way... Both my child and I caught a cold. There is a very strong draft in the pool. And almost everyone is guaranteed to have a cough. The head nurse, or maybe the head nurse (I can’t say exactly which one) answers very rudely. Our whole group got severe allergies from the water in the pool. My feet are bleeding. And I saw that this is the case for many people. When asked by the nurse what was added to the water: the answer is “I don’t know.” I showed the child’s legs, red and already crusty. I was recommended to treat my allergies as I would at home. And they sent me to the pharmacy to buy expensive ointment and allergy pills. I am shocked!!! And I would like to add one more thing. Our package included two doctor visits. But our doctor went on vacation. And to the question of which doctor should we go to then, “the answer from the head nurse is “NONE TO ANYONE,” but luck smiled on us and our Sofia came for one day. But the woman who had a cold did not. I would like to note that there are several doctors in the hotel. And to replace the one who left no one wants a doctor's vacation. How so??? In general, I don't recommend the hotel to anyone. But otherwise everything is fine. The city is very beautiful. The forest is super. Beauty. Think for yourself, decide for yourself. To have it or not to have it))))

I read in the reviews about a modest diet - and it is so. But it’s more frustrating when there are 30 minutes between procedures, you come to the dining room, and the trays are just empty. By the time they bring the cuttings and the rest, we need to hurry.😕

The rooms are not properly cleaned; there was dust already when we first checked into the room. Only towels, toilet paper and garbage bags were changed. The quality of the pillows has much to be desired, too big and flat. The food is just a nightmare, not only is there practically no choice, but if you don’t come among the first before opening, you expect that you will only see leftovers and not everything. There were days due to procedures when there were 2 in the morning, we arrived at 8:30 and there were already only leftovers, there was nothing to choose from, despite the fact that the canteen is open until 9:30!!! The trays are empty, they are no longer filled, I personally didn’t see any fruit, there was just bread for breakfast and there wasn’t always enough for everyone! Dinner was also not tasty. A three-star hotel, but it doesn’t even qualify for one star! We will not come to this hotel again!

Unfortunately one lady whose responsibility is to serve hydraulic massage was very rude to me. I was shocked with tone of her voice. Yes, I was a little late (3 minutes) but it wasn't necessary to yell at me for this. Of course I wish her the best and keep her bad mood at home. Thank you, Oleg

I don’t know about cleaning, I spent the entire stay, asked for a lot of towels and paper, and told me not to bother me. Speaking of parking, they have very few spaces, so think ahead. The advertising is in German, and for me as an older person it is very difficult to get a satisfactory answer to questions.
