A large hotel-sanatorium, consisting of several buildings, with numerous rooms and physiotherapy departments, with a SPA center (saunas, swimming pool). All equipment, furniture, renovations are mostly new. All the staff speak Russian, they don’t always understand 100%, but at least they try to understand and help. Almost all the nurses who perform the procedures are friendly, responsive, and help in any way they can. I really liked Dr. Sofia, she finally diagnosed me (for more than 10 years I have been suffering from arthrosis of the feet, and then my knees, the pain is hellish, I went to a bunch of doctors here in Italy, no one really said anything or could help), prescribed me an excellent treatment program and By the 3-4th day I was already flying up the stairs (and on the first day of my arrival I couldn’t even climb a step). The food is modest but varied. As it turned out, I absolutely cannot eat most foods (meat, for example), and I didn’t eat pasta, rice, potatoes and baked goods in order to lose weight, so every time I got up from the table full and satisfied, because... there was a large amount of salads and fruits. Many thanks to the waiter Bogdan ❤️❤️❤️ a miracle, not a person!!!! He always ran from the farthest end of the hall to help if there was a misunderstanding (they brought the wrong thing or the wrong thing). A very friendly woman works at a kiosk with excursions and various cultural and entertainment programs, but I haven’t gone anywhere in 2 weeks, because... I received intensive treatment and rested. From conversations with regular visitors (who have been to Karlovy Vary approximately 5 to 15 times), I found out that Krivan is the best hotel in the city, because... provides the largest number of effective procedures in the shortest time and little money. So I will definitely go back there!!! I’m very glad that I found it by chance, I didn’t think twice about it, but bought tickets and came! They shared a link to this site with me on December 18, and on the 21st I was already in Karlovy Vary!!!Negatives

I rate the Krivan Hotel as a good example of a sanatorium familiar to us from the past, with a rich medical base, comfortable accommodation for guests, good food and professional and friendly staff. The sanatorium is located in the very center, near the colonnade. The rooms and other premises are clean and well-groomed, the medical procedures on the list prescribed by the doctor are issued as scheduled. The staff is attentive and friendly.Negatives
We chose the Krivan Hotel because it has a large swimming pool with hydromassages and a jacuzzi. In the cold season, it would be good to keep the water temperature in the pool at least 30 degrees, as we were promised in correspondence with Krivani employees and written in the advertisement. The actual water temperature in the pool was just above 28 degrees and we could not use the pool sufficiently. Для плавательных бассейнов идеальная температура до 28°C, для купальных бассейнов - выше 28°C. Наш бассейн является реабилитационным бассейном, т.е. предназначен как для физических упражнений, так и для плавания, поэтому температура в нем находится в пределах 30-31°C, с учетом того, что в более теплой воде также легче размножаются болезнетворные микроорганизмы. В нашем бассейне регулярно берутся пробы воды независимой лабораторией и проверяются санитарной станцией. Надеемся на встречу с Вами в следующем году.

My husband and I were in the sanatorium from November 7 to November 21. The room we were given was very warm, clean and comfortable. The room was cleaned every day, towels and bed linen were changed every other day. We were pleased with the girls who cleaned our room. During the procedures, the staff was very friendly. The procedures were all on time and there was no need to wait anywhere. We were also very pleased with the dining room, everything was delicious and we were served quickly without delay. Overall, we were very pleased with everything in this sanatorium and would be happy to come to this sanatorium again. We have already advised our friends and family to definitely visit this sanatorium.

The rooms are in need of renovation. The poor sound insulation is extremely annoying - you can hear the neighbors or what's happening in the hallway. Sometimes you get the feeling that you could be taking part in your neighbors' conversations - you can hear individual words so clearly at night. If you have neighbors like that, you have a hard time sleeping at night.

Krivan is located close to the springs. I had a single room, the room was large and warm, the window was open all day, it was November. There was a kettle, a safe, and the wardrobe was locked. The bathroom has a shower, hairdryer, bar of soap and shower gel. I had 2 weeks and 39 procedures. The procedures were carried out exactly on time, the staff was good and responsive. You can change procedures without any problems. I liked it very much. The food is good in the restaurant, the waiters are friendly. I received a classic massage - they did it well. You don’t need to take towels for the procedures, everything is provided there. There are 3 towels in the room, do not bring extra weight.
