Rested in from 28.05. to 06/11/2017. Very convenient choice of sanatorium through Sanatoriums.com. It was my first time in Karlovy Vary and I was a little doubtful about the validity of the booking through the website. Everything turned out to be very reliable, including transit from the airport to the sanatorium. Accommodation: We were accommodated very quickly, a single room with a balcony overlooking a pleasant courtyard. The pleasant cleaning lady cleaned the room daily and changed the towels. Treatment: I was prepared in advance that two weeks and 42 procedures would not solve all health problems for anyone. As prescribed by doctor Kovaleva E.V. I received the most necessary treatment package and also paid for several procedures that I considered useful. I liked Floating - baths in water with Dead Sea salts. I couldn’t even get paid oxygen treatment. I don’t consider this a negative, the procedure is long, and the sanatorium was full, so there simply wasn’t enough time. The attitude of the medical staff is very good. The main thing is to arrive for the procedure on time. Meals: I took half board, breakfast and lunch. The food is very satisfying, the meat dishes are home-cooked and delicious. Breakfast is a completely buffet; for lunch and dinner, ordered dishes are brought individually, and side dishes and salads are again a buffet. There is a lot of food and mostly healthy food. There is no variety of buns and sweets, but we must remember that the direction of treatment in the sanatorium is the gastrointestinal tract. So, I think it’s enough that they only give small cakes for tea. You can have dinner in cafes, there are many of them in the area. People on full board were also satisfied with the food. Location: Sanatorium Krivan is very conveniently located, in the very center of Karlovy Vary, but a little away from the colonnades, from the city noise, between two walking streets. It is also very convenient that the sanatorium is close to the departure point of most buses for excursions. I would really like to repeat the trip to Karlovy Vary and, specifically, to Krivan in a while.Negatives
I didn't find any negative. The lack of Wi-Fi in the rooms is a little annoying, but again it forces you not to sit in your room, but to walk more and breathe in fresh air and the sweet smell of flowers.

Continuous construction work in houses near the sanatorium, even on weekends and starting in the early morning. Added to this is the noise from the machines picking up trash cans. It seems that the service staff is deliberately doing this as loudly as possible. It's impossible to sleep. The lack of luggage carriers to the room, the lack of a ramp inside the sanatorium negates all treatment. Lack of laundry services. Visiting patients are forced to look for services outside the sanatorium. Loud-voiced staff during procedures (baths) - the patient lies listening to the showdown between the staff, rather than resting and enjoying the procedure

I do not even know where to start. There are more negatives than positives. 1. The doctor does not listen to the patient. There is a conveyor belt there like in a factory. 2. The timing of the appointment of procedures has not been thought through at all. I personally had 3 procedures during breakfast and 3 more during lunch. But in the interval between 9.30 and 12.00. I was playing the fool. 3.Pool.3×10. Not big. 16 people per procedure. Like sprat in a barrel. Swimming is not possible. 4.There is no Wi-Fi in the rooms. You can only contact the outside world at the reception desk or on the street area. Luckily the weather allowed. 5. Nutrition - full clinic! But we seemed to be going to get healthier and lose weight - so I’m omitting this point. But everyone was tired of the canteen. So we always had dinner outside the hotel. 6.The room is normal. Although the beds were separate... My husband and I were there. At first they wanted to ask us to be transferred to a room with one double bed. Then they decided it would do. 7. After staying 5 days in Prague, we arrived in KV in Krivan, we could not find a place to wash our things. The maid gave us an ironing board and an iron. but when we asked her where we could wash dirty laundry, she replied that in the sink ourselves. She doesn't have a washing machine. We went to the reception - they also advised us to negotiate with the staff. but that didn’t work out either. We were given the address of a dry cleaner in the city - we had to go somewhere and look... In short, this was the first time I met a hotel that did not provide cleaning services. Considering that people come here for at least 2-3 weeks. in short, absurd. They washed the panties themselves. T-shirts and tights, jeans...we went home to wash in Dubai. 8. I personally haven’t encountered rudeness. But I’ve heard a lot of complaints from people. 9.Chief physician this is a separate topic. I heard everything about the Bolsheviks, about the revolution, that the Russians would destroy Europe. It’s hard to believe, but it was fucked up! This is not the first time I have vacationed in this wonderful place in Karlovy Vary. There were hotels Ulrika and Venus. , Thermal. But I have never had such negativity as after Krivan. We will definitely return to Kalovy Vary! But no way to Krivan!

I don’t recommend seeing the doctor from room 9 (unfortunately I don’t remember his last name). She has obvious mental disorders. There was no conflict with her, but she behaved inappropriately at the reception. She periodically tapped the telephone receiver, took the resort card several times and moved it from place to place without reading. I took my blood pressure several times. She asked the same questions. This is not the most important thing. The important thing is that she did not prescribe me a single procedure related to my disease, although I repeated it several times. I was forced to ask to see another doctor, who was also surprised by what was prescribed. The error was corrected, but the residue remained.

I was in this sanatorium 10 years ago, there is something to compare with. This time I was left with a better impression. They greeted me warmly and helped me bring in my suitcase. I got to the doctor very quickly. When prescribing the procedures, my wishes were also taken into account. The schedule of procedures was not very convenient , but it is clear that with so many patients it is difficult to please everyone. I received noticeable positive results from the treatment. The food was varied and in sufficient quantity. The service in the dining room was quick and always friendly. The room was cleaned well, towels and bed linen were changed regularly. I liked it. It is not clear why they refuse to issue dry rations when leaving home. The day of arrival and the day of departure are paid in full, and you usually get 1 meal.

Everything is nearby: springs, shops, a theater, bus stops and Dvorak’s garden, where you can sit, breathe in the delicious air and admire the flowers. When you feel that the staff is ready to meet you halfway, you want to come to this sanatorium again and again, which is what we have been doing for several years in a row. The only thing that is not very pleasant is when you pass by the Bernard restaurant for treatments (it’s on the first floor of the sanatorium), it smells very much of tobacco smoke.

I was in the sanatorium from April 21 to May 4, 2017. Accommodation in the 3rd building of Krivani, single room with a balcony. The room is “fresh”, new plumbing, cleaning daily, towels changed daily. The procedures were carried out at a high level and the client’s wishes were taken into account. Doctor Kovaleva E.M. beyond all praise, one can feel professionalism and an individual approach (this is my personal opinion). The food was good enough for me. This is my 5th time in Vary, I consider this sanatorium to be the best in terms of price-quality ratio, many of those who vacationed with me during this period come here constantly. We went on an excursion for the whole weekend and were shocked by the rations we received.
