Horror. I’ve been going to Vary for 7 years, I came to the three-star Krivan for the first time because I was traveling with children, and not all sanatoriums accept them. Before that, I had Royal Regent, Humboldt, George House, Bristol Palace, Aquamarina under my belt. The impression is that I ended up in a Crimean or Kavminvodsk sanatorium in the late 90s. Disgusting cuisine, it feels like they are saving on everything, procedures take 30-50% less time than in other sanatoriums, there are a lot of doctors, because the sanatorium is large, but they are of little use , it’s very difficult to get the procedures you need prescribed, and I’m generally silent about the children, it took 5 days for the procedures to be prescribed, After the procedures were finally prescribed, the receptionist took 24 hours to get receipts, it’s hard to believe, but there was a constant queue at the registration desk for two days 6 -7 people who longed for the distribution of procedures and could not achieve anything, because... The permanent receptionist fell ill and a temporary nurse sat in his place, the most interesting thing is that the head doctor also fell ill when people started to get high. Half of the rooms are terrible, and the other half are absolutely terrible, there is no air conditioning, it’s stuffy at night in July, the beds are made of cotton wool and are also short in length , there are no safes, instead there is a box with a key in the wardrobe. The rooms are absolutely terrible, these are the ones that look into the courtyard-well, they are small and poorly lit due to small windows. We had 2 rooms, because we were with two children , one was given such a small one, two days later I just got it replaced. And another cherry on the cake, in all the sanatoriums I’ve been to before, lunch and dinner last for 3 hours, so people can freely plan their day, in Krivan lunch is 2 hours , dinner is at 1 hour 45 minutes, and if you haven’t had time in the first half hour, then you may not get much of the already meager assortment, we had that pre-ordered dishes were not brought, explaining this by the fact that they had already run out. And crowds of people scurrying around back and forth, elderly people from the Russian Federation, who before that had apparently only been in Soviet sanatoriums, are here emitting cries of delight.

The hotel is located next to drinking springs, which is very important for older people. Room 1411 was spacious, well prepared and we liked it. The room was cleaned and linen was changed regularly. We liked the medical facilities in the hotel for its completeness, clarity of service, attentiveness of the staff. We were served by doctor Spisakova, very competently and professionally, with great and warm attention. Many thanks to her for everything. The massage was done well by a nurse named Daniila /little/. Food. Well organized: the food is varied and deliciously prepared. No queues in the dining room, exceptional cleanliness and attentiveness of the waiters. I was on vacation in June. Krivan hotel with a good location, close to grocery stores, and nearby springs. It looks good from the outside, and the inside is also a pleasant impression. Very friendly reception. Parking is closed, guarded and only 4 Euro per day for a week's stay. The main dishes are normal for 3 stars. One of the few hotels offering 21 treatments per week. The kitchen staff were lucky: we had a friendly, serious girl. And where should they shower themselves with pleasantries? There’s plenty of work to do. I got into the room, it’s a pity I didn’t take a photo, I didn’t think that they would ask for a review. It’s tiny, you open the suitcase on the floor in front of the bed and almost all the free space is occupied. A small balcony overlooks a courtyard with the walls of another hotel. Units, probably the dining room, are humming day and night; during the day there is constant noise from unloading operations and deliveries. I held out. It was good, not hot weather. I was not in the room during the day, but at night I managed to sleep with the windows closed. The walls in the room are like cardboard. Any movement and sounds of the neighbor were clearly audible. Shower and toilet are ok. It’s better to come to the dining room earlier - in the first minutes the boiled eggs disappear, and often the buns are not brought back. Poverty and economy are felt. But everyone is full. So everything is fine.

I was in Karlovy Vary for the first time in the Krivan sanatorium. I really liked it. I'll definitely come again. Good location of the resort, varied food, excellent room with a balcony. Very little fruit. A couple of times they gave me apples and kiwi. And it's all. The rooms have old furniture, the interior apparently hasn't been updated for a long time. It's a pity that the underwater massage didn't work - it was a wonderful procedure.

It was my first time in Karlovy Vary and I was a little doubtful about the validity of the booking through the website. Everything turned out to be very reliable, including transit from the airport to the sanatorium. Accommodation: We were accommodated very quickly, a single room with a balcony overlooking a pleasant courtyard. The pleasant cleaning lady cleaned the room daily and changed the towels. Treatment: I was prepared in advance that two weeks and 42 procedures would not solve all health problems for anyone. As prescribed by doctor Kovaleva E.V. I received the most necessary treatment package and also paid for several procedures that I considered useful. I liked Floating - baths in water with Dead Sea salts. I couldn’t even get paid oxygen treatment. I don’t consider this a negative, the procedure is long, and the sanatorium was full, so there simply wasn’t enough time. The attitude of the medical staff is very good. The main thing is to arrive for the procedure on time. Meals: I took half board, breakfast and lunch. The food is very satisfying, the meat dishes are home-cooked and delicious. Breakfast is a completely buffet; for lunch and dinner, ordered dishes are brought individually, and side dishes and salads are again a buffet. There is a lot of food and mostly healthy food. There is no variety of buns and sweets, but we must remember that the direction of treatment in the sanatorium is the gastrointestinal tract. So, I think it’s enough that they only give small cakes for tea. You can have dinner in cafes, there are many of them in the area. People on full board were also satisfied with the food. Location: Sanatorium Krivan is very conveniently located, in the very center of Karlovy Vary, but a little away from the colonnades, from the city noise, between two walking streets. It is also very convenient that the sanatorium is close to the departure point of most buses for excursions. I would really like to repeat the trip to Karlovy Vary and, specifically, to Krivan in a while.Negatives
I didn't find any negative. The lack of Wi-Fi in the rooms is a little annoying, but again it forces you not to sit in your room, but to walk more and breathe in fresh air and the sweet smell of flowers.

It seems that the service staff is deliberately doing this as loudly as possible. It's impossible to sleep. The lack of luggage carriers to the room, the lack of a ramp inside the sanatorium negates all treatment. Lack of laundry services. Visiting patients are forced to look for services outside the sanatorium. I do not even know where to start. There are more negatives than positives. 1. The doctor does not listen to the patient. There is a conveyor belt there like in a factory. 2. The timing of the appointment of procedures has not been thought through at all. I personally had 3 procedures during breakfast and 3 more during lunch. But in the interval between 9.30 and 12.00. I was playing the fool. 3.Pool.3×10. Not big. 16 people per procedure. Like sprat in a barrel. Swimming is not possible. 4.There is no Wi-Fi in the rooms. You can only contact the outside world at the reception desk or on the street area. Luckily the weather allowed. 5. Nutrition - full clinic! But we seemed to be going to get healthier and lose weight - so I’m omitting this point. But everyone was tired of the canteen. So we always had dinner outside the hotel. 6.The room is normal. Although the beds were separate... My husband and I were there. At first they wanted to ask us to be transferred to a room with one double bed. Then they decided it would do. 7. After staying 5 days in Prague, we arrived in KV in Krivan, we could not find a place to wash our things. The maid gave us an ironing board and an iron. but when we asked her where we could wash dirty laundry, she replied that in the sink ourselves. She doesn't have a washing machine. We went to the reception - they also advised us to negotiate with the staff. but that didn’t work out either. We were given the address of a dry cleaner in the city - we had to go somewhere and look... In short, this was the first time I met a hotel that did not provide cleaning services. Considering that people come here for at least 2-3 weeks. in short, absurd. They washed the panties themselves. T-shirts and tights, jeans...we went home to wash in Dubai. 8. I personally haven’t encountered rudeness. But I’ve heard a lot of complaints from people. 9.Chief physician this is a separate topic. I heard everything about the Bolsheviks, about the revolution, that the Russians would destroy Europe. It’s hard to believe, but it was fucked up! This is not the first time I have vacationed in this wonderful place in Karlovy Vary. There were hotels Ulrika and Venus. , Thermal. But I have never had such negativity as after Krivan. We will definitely return to Kalovy Vary! But no way to Krivan!

I don’t recommend seeing the doctor from room 9 (unfortunately I don’t remember his last name). She has obvious mental disorders. There was no conflict with her, but she behaved inappropriately at the reception. She periodically tapped the telephone receiver, took the resort card several times and moved it from place to place without reading. I took my blood pressure several times. She asked the same questions. This is not the most important thing. The important thing is that she did not prescribe me a single procedure related to my disease, although I repeated it several times. I was forced to ask to see another doctor, who was also surprised by what was prescribed. The error was corrected, but the residue remained.
