Another big minus is the transfer service: firstly, it is paid, when before it was included in the purchase of the package. Secondly, we were taken through Marianske Lazne and it was terrible!!! At night, instead of 01:30 we arrived at 03:20...this is not real!!! Why is it necessary to connect Lazne with Karlovy Vary??? Yes, even for a fee!!! Me and my friends will not use your transfer services

There are very few seasonal fresh vegetables and fruits on the menu. During the film festival, powerful speakers were placed close to the sanatorium, from which music boomed at full power from 4 pm to 1 am. Almost a week of stress and no sleep. The director of the sanatorium ignored requests to restore order and was rude. It is not surprising that some employees, in the form of a security guard, a nurse and reception workers, said that if you are not satisfied with the festival, you should not come or choose a sanatorium on the outskirts of the city, but we can’t do anything. I never understood what the screams of tipsy people and blaring music that shook the walls had to do with the festival. Only after a personal appeal to the magistrate and police, on the last day of the festival, this point was closed. A big minus for the director of the sanatorium.

Perhaps it wasn’t. I heard that the Krivan Hotel had a buffet before the pandemic. I would like to return to him! Although the wait time for your menu is not long, I saw how nervous people were, afraid of being late for the procedures. My wish is to return the buffet to Krivani! The review will be subjective since it was my first time at the sanatorium and there is nothing to compare it with. On the plus side, the location is excellent, very close to all sources, next to a park and forest. The mattress is comfortable, but the single bed is very narrow, I’m thin, but I think overweight people fall on the floor at night when they turn over to the other side. Good quality cleaning, towels changed frequently. It seems the bed linen hasn't been changed in a week, but I'm not sure. The price is good. Transfer to the hotel was included, which was very impressive. Wifi is good. I don’t have any special health problems, so I can’t say how good the treatment was, 2 massages per week, baths... so let’s say it’s ok for me. I really liked the Charcot shower, I tried it for the first time.Negatives
On the negative side, the food is of poor quality. I'm not picky, but I also saw reactions at neighboring tables and people complained too. Of the fresh fruits for the week, there were only 2 bananas and one kiwi on the table, and there were few desserts either. The salads did not look very fresh, everything was in small plates. Some dishes, such as casserole, looked as if they had been prepared 2-3 days ago and left on the table; they were covered with a dry crust. Cold soup - it was just beets and kefir and that’s it. The fried chicken was covered in oil. Some dishes are over-salted, some under-salted. If I go again, it will be only a buffet... ordering from the menu is not my thing and unfortunately it was not tasty. The pillow was also kind of dead, but I asked the reception for a second one and it was quickly brought to the room, good. As a piece of advice, try not to come during the film festival (unfortunately, I didn’t know it was going on) if you want to relax in silence. The music was blasting until one in the morning, and it was very loud and there were a lot of people. In general, because of the food I give it 5/10; I won’t go to this sanatorium a second time for this very reason.

Our first double room wasn't enough, the bathroom was tiny. We couldn't do anything, the room was old and tiny, view of the wall of the backyard, no balcony, even though we had agreed in advance. Changing the room was no problem, large room, big bathroom, Balcony that was ok. The food in the restaurant was plentiful, but unfortunately there was no buffet, there were only tiny bowls with two kinds of salads that were the same every day, where are some vegetables, salad, fruit, dessert? At the breakfast buffet there was the same bread every day, cut off white bread croissants , no toast or similar, butter and jam in prepackaged portions, the same thing every day, and we had to look for it together in the dining room because nothing was refilled. Unfortunately we "Germans" were in the total minority, anyone who doesn't speak Russian or Czech is in the wrong place here. We won't be coming back.
