I was at the Krivan sanatorium from 08/05/21 to 08/19/21. The hotel is excellent, the staff is wonderful, for which a special thank you, the treatment is excellent, the maids are very friendly, towels are changed every other day, the rooms are clean. The location is great, very close to the springs. I'll be happy to come again. Thank you all very much for your concern. The rest and treatment were wonderful, but everything was ruined by the confusion regarding the transfer. The booking stated that the two-way transfer was free. The company sanatoriums.com does not fulfill the conditions given in the booking, presents a fait accompli and demands payment for a transfer from the hotel to Prague airport.Answer from Spa Hotel Krivan

The room is small, overlooking the roof, which was constantly being renovated. The room was not cleaned, from Wednesday to Monday the same towels. When on Monday I made a comment, only the towels were changed, but there was no cleaning. Upon arrival, there were long black hairs in the shower, also in the corners of the entire shower room, throughout the whole time no one has done a full cleaning. there is a thick layer of dust on the table lamps and bedside tables. I also want to say about the dining room. It’s mid-August, and there were practically no fruits and vegetables. once at lunch for dessert an apple and once a peach - this is ridiculous. I ordered cold soup with fruit - given yogurt with canned cherries! fresh and sauerkraut salad put into small bowls the size of a salt shaker - that's the whole range of vegetables??? in agusta? Sometimes I came across bowls of the same size with 2 pieces of chopped cucumber, 2 pieces of pepper and one slice of tomato. The buffet was given out by an employee and if, for example, I took it for my husband at the same time, then I had to explain. Is this a buffet or a distribution of rations in a concentration camp? I also wanted to say something about the guide Valentina. Without understanding our situation, she is trying to advise Ukraine to do like the Czech Republic and Slovakia. She believes that the Donetsk and Carpathian lumberjacks are two nations, like the Czechs and Slovaks? Maybe it would be better to give an example of the same Czech Republic, which threw off the occupiers who had been there for 700 years - the Germans and Astro-Hungarians and abandoned the language of the occupiers, and Ukraine, occupied for 300 years by Muscovy, is now looking for its own independent path away from the aggressor? Let this a wise woman would first advise Muscovites to remove the monument to General Vlasov from the Moscow region rather than be indignant at the Czechs’ decision to dismantle the monument to Konyukhov. And she doesn’t get involved in politics, it will be better, you don’t always come across such calm Ukrainians as we are, there can be trouble.

I wouldn't call it negative, but rather something that could be improved: the cleaning ladies in the rooms don't put much effort into their tasks. The flooring in the room urgently needs to be replaced. And the bar staff should also be more friendly.

This was my second time at this resort. The geographical location is excellent, the treatment is excellent, the service is wonderful, the only complaints are about the food: the food is very often too salty, there are not enough vegetables, there are practically no fruits. But (in my opinion) treatment is more important than nutrition, so, if possible, I will come to Krivan again.

We were on vacation for the first time, we liked the location of the sanatorium, everything is within walking distance in the center, affordable prices, good treatment, without any special delays. The rooms are well equipped with everything you need, a nice veranda and a sitting area where you can sit with a cup of coffee.Negatives
There are a lot of steps indoors, when moving from one building to another, there are no ramps for people with disabilities. For lunch and dinner you need to order from the dishes offered, but the side dish is never specified and very often a dish with dumplings is served!!!!

In the dining room only a couple are friendly. Charging in the pool is sluggish. Out of three times, only one guy did it energetically. The room was not cheap and was very dusty.

Compared to previous years, the food has worsened; there is practically no choice, few vegetables, side dishes only potatoes, rice and dumplings! The service is primarily served by Czech staff, and everyone else has to wait until they deign to pay attention to them... Vaclav is the waiter's name, he constantly found fault with us: sometimes we scribbled on the tablecloth, sometimes we didn't finish everything, sometimes we took too much bread... and so on we felt feeling like some kind of disobedient children, he scolded us so that everyone could hear... We are regular visitors to this hotel, but every vacation there begins with stress - we are put in rooms that are intended for 1 person, there is nowhere to turn around, it is dark damp (it was in this year), our request to change the room was met with hostility, the employee behaved rudely and unceremoniously, all that was left was to tell us off with obscenities... although we only asked for relocation from the bunkers to a normal room in accordance with the reserved standard room (not economy!)
