Full use of the swimming pool is only possible for a fee. Meals are organized in premises called “dining room” and its range and quality of dishes fully correspond to the name. And there are many more different shortcomings - the managers of this sanatorium have something to work on!

There is a restaurant inside the resort where people smoke. After all, it is a sanatorium and I would like smoking to be banned in the restaurant.

The furniture in the rooms is a bit old, the upholstery on the chairs is simply dirty in some places (we asked to put towels on them - they did for us), but the beds are comfortable (this is very important for people with spinal problems). The first room we were placed in was very cramped, but the next day, at our request, they easily changed it to another, much larger one. I was very pleased to have a KETTLE in the room - it’s so nice to have a cup of tea before bed.... Despite some shortcomings, the overall impression of the sanatorium is quite good and next time we will probably go to Krivan again.Negatives
The main problem is food. In restaurants, behind “beautiful” names, you often find tasteless, sometimes very fatty dishes. At the buffet, some dishes appear only at the beginning of the meal. Literally after 10-15 minutes they run out and are no longer served until the end of the meal (for example, mashed potatoes or fried potatoes are almost immediately replaced simply with boiled potatoes. And they can be mixed together in one container, normally cooked and severely undercooked.) Unstable WiFi in rooms. Having a wired Internet is great, but most modern devices do not have a cable connection... The pool for residents of the sanatorium could be less chlorinated - a lot of chlorine.

The hotel has a swimming pool and a spa, in the evening we went to take a steam bath in the sauna and swim. The food was good for dieters, there was a choice of dishes and there was always fruit. The sanatorium has a wonderful location - everything you need is nearby! The colonnade is two minutes away, it’s nice to walk to the springs at any time of the day! The room we got was wonderful, spacious! We stayed in December, the heating in the room was good, cleaning was done every day, towels were changed often, the bed was changed twice. In general, everything is fine! The food was quite varied and tasty. Breakfasts are good! For the first time in Europe I discovered cottage cheese and honey for breakfast! And also a lot of salads, cheeses, sausages.... They also serve various hot snacks for breakfast, very tasty! Lunch and dinner upon request, which is formed at breakfast. In winter, a big plus is the small number of customers! You can complete all procedures quickly, before your turn, and be free for excursions and walks. All excursion bureaus pick up tourists from Krivan - it’s very convenient! On Saturday before the excursion, an early breakfast is organized at 6:30, and packed lunches are also provided. The quality of the massage is mediocre. I advise you to find a massage therapist in the city and go there. Same price, but can't compare! Peat applications and wraps are performed in different ways. It all depends on the staff. I was lucky the last two procedures when the nurse changed. If you have arrived for the first time, then, of course, you will take everything that the doctor prescribes for you. But, if I happen to visit there again, I will only buy accommodation and meals, and I will buy the procedures that I liked. I will go to Peter for a massage (Massage room near the colonnade).

We (me and my husband) were on holiday in Karlovy Vary for the first time. It so happened that we chose the Krivan Hotel and did not regret it. Located in the center, there is parking, springs nearby. All procedures are located in the same hotel. The staff is friendly. They answer all your questions clearly and recommend the best. We really liked the food. Thank you!

The room was good and clean. They cleaned every day and it wasn't very intrusive. But the view from the window was onto a courtyard where a car always came in the morning at 5 o'clock to collect garbage. The staff on the floor were very friendly. The staff who receive and accommodate you, I would say, are a little rude or simply tired from the flow of visitors. The food for breakfast is very good and there is a lot of choice, but lunch and dinner are poor. Little choice. There are practically no fruits. In two weeks we were given 2 kiwis and one apple. The doctor who received us was very friendly and listened. She practically gave the procedures that I asked for. But the second appointment was with a man of 55-60 years old. He just wants to write something faster and send him away. I was not satisfied with him and even upon departure I did not go to see him again. Not enough procedures are included in the paid voucher. The restaurant has a very friendly male bartender. If I go next time, it will definitely not be to this hotel.
