We stayed in this sanatorium for a week. I’ll say right away that we’ve been going to the sanatorium in Karlovy Vary for 7 years. There is something to compare with. Pros: location (very center, closest hotel to the colonnade), good rooms (we lived in a two-room apartment), room service. This is where the hotel's advantages end.Negatives
The most disgusting thing is the food in this hotel, at best it corresponds to 2**, the service in the so-called restaurant (this is a canteen). While we were there, many guests were arguing with the dining room staff. Often different dishes ran out, in order to be renewed, you had to go and demand. There is no coffee machine (there is a tub of barrel coffee). Hot dishes are generally poorly prepared. The food is monotonous and there is a very small variety. Demanding guests have nothing to do there at all. In addition, the level of medicine is also weak. They can even measure basic pressure the 3rd time. I'm tired of just swearing and proving something. In "Thermal" 4* everything is just super, in "Krivan" (this is a neighboring building from Windsor) it is much better, although it is 3*. Make your own choice. Personally, I was there for the first and last time.

4* hotel.... BUT. The linen and robe were not changed even once in 10 days!!!!!! The food --- VERY leaves much to be desired, but unfortunately you are stuck --- either a package of procedures and food --- then the price is HUMANE, or all separately, but the price is DIFFERENT. You have to think and count. The procedures are standard. Massage - 15 min. every other day or 2 days on schedule. I’m not sure if this is correct. At home you go for a massage every day - course 10. It’s the same story with baths and other procedures. I really don’t want to write about the bad - it’s not critical, but somehow everything is for this money. Very incomprehensible sensations. You can’t say --- BAD. So it’s somehow average. Everything is not critical.

very good location of the hotel, very good room with two rooms for three (we were with a 13 year old child), clean and large rooms. Since the hotel has a pipe with mineral water, I liked the procedures with mineral water and peat the most.

I would like to be able to order a fish dish and dairy products for dinner (dinner should be lighter). The food selection was quite varied, but not always edible due to poor preparation. You need chefs like Pavla (I hope this is the name of the woman who cooked “Staroceska Kulaks”) Many thanks to her!!! I would like to remind Katrina (blonde with a ponytail, tall) that we came to your sanatorium primarily for treatment and our morning hours were busy with procedures, so we sometimes came for breakfast at 9:30 in the morning and only Katrina, with her dissatisfied glances at the clock, hanging in the dining room and with her whole appearance spoiled our appetite and mood. And at lunches and dinners, she took food away while many were still eating. Dinner ended at 20:00, which begs the question until what time should she be at work?

I am very pleased with the choice of the Windsor Resort and my stay there. Everything was wonderful: the location of the sanatorium, the service and treatment. The doctor was very attentive, I am very pleased with his prescriptions. The staff during the procedures are also very nice and attentive. The procedure scheduling manager was always helpful if it was necessary to replace a procedure. Reception staff Receptionists helped organize the order of transfer upon departure and registration of plane tickets. I really liked the resort. Great location of the hotel, right in the center, next to the colonnade. The procedures were carried out in hotels in the basement, very conveniently by elevator. And gas injections are the highest measure of health improvement, 6 times 42 injections for a total of 252 injections in 2 weeks, very invigorating.Negatives
The cuisine leaves much to be desired, in particular the dinner. But I think that you can do without dinner and buy a ticket with 2 meals a day...

The food is normal but not varied, you get bored quickly. The advantage is that it is dietary (this is a sanatorium). In general, we were satisfied with the rest and treatment.Negatives
Children under 17 years of age are seen by a doctor at the gastrocenter, but we were dissatisfied with the appointment! We came mainly to treat a child (15 years old) with a devil-may-care attitude. The doctor at the sanatorium is much more attentive and friendly! We were there in July and the lack of air conditioning was very annoying. No gym. During excursions, packed lunches are very meager and tasteless. These little things spoiled the overall impression a little.

Our room had a bathtub instead of a shower, which had neither a door nor a curtain, after taking a shower a lot of water ended up on the floor, which is inconvenient and at times dangerous (the floor is very slippery), the hotel restaurant is 1 star, salads stay for dinner from lunch, I haven’t seen this approach even in Turkey and Egypt, which are famous for the salad “finish lunch for dinner” or “dinner for breakfast”, etc., there is practically no variety, order dishes from the menu if you don’t eat meat, then you risk being hungry for a couple of days, because... fish is not offered every lunch and dinner. The stated dinner time is until 20-00, but at 19-40 they can quite calmly take away all the side dishes and answer that dinner time is until 8 o’clock. The entrance to the hotel is equipped only with a staircase; if you have difficulty moving or have a stroller, then the entrance is not equipped for such cases, which in my opinion is also a huge minus. In general, the hotel is not bad, but there are too many disadvantages to recommend to friends or a repeat visit

I would like to point out that this hotel has a very small shower stall. where you need to stand at attention without any ability to move your arms or bend over. to wash. Although I'm not a full person. The towel hooks are located one below the other in a completely stupid way. and there is not a single hook for a hand towel near the sink. although there is enough space near the sink. And you also definitely need a mirror at the entrance. And lastly, it wouldn’t hurt to put a bedspread on the bed and somehow decorate the room itself. paintings on the wall. for example. I would be grateful. if you convey my wishes to the hotel management. There was no questionnaire in the room in Russian.

Friends, it depends, but I like everything about the hotel. I came to rest and get treatment. Now here, I continue to rest and think that I made the right choice. The hotel is after recent renovation. Everything is neat and beautiful. Cleaned regularly and cleanly. The hotel staff and medical staff are always friendly and polite. Dear, who came and why? For example, I spend half a day with procedures, then walking and excursions. There is no time to notice hairs on the floor. Yes, the restaurant's assortment could be a little more diverse. But what is prepared to order, for lunch and dinner, is always fantastically delicious. Special thanks to the chefs. 4 Russian channels, free excellent dry sauna at any time. In my opinion, the rating is excellent. I’m not a fan of coming to the same place; I try to find something new. But you can come here again. I recommend to everyone. This was my first time visiting Karlovy Vary and I am sure that I will definitely come back here again, but this time with my family. I have probably never encountered such a benevolent attitude anywhere else, although I managed to visit 42 countries. Attentive doctors, friendly hotel staff, delicious and varied medical food, excellent quality of service for this category of accommodation - all this made my holiday and stay in the Czech Republic useful, memorable and educational. Excellent sanatorium. Amazing location. Close to public transport. All sources are nearby. The cuisine is good, there is a choice. I never left hungry; sometimes, on the contrary, I forgot about my diet. The staff is friendly, smiling, polite, etc. They speak Russian well, if you need to know anything, they will tell you everything without difficulty. I recommend. I really liked it. Next year I’m thinking of staying at this sanatorium.

Very modest food - certainly not worthy of 4 stars. The last visitors did not get everything. The waitress was often alone and the wait for the order took a long time. In the mornings, the child did not always get porridge, which was extremely indignant. The portions for lunch and dinner are very small, the assortment is very limited. There are no procedures on Sunday, and only baths on Saturday - this is not very convenient for those who come for a short time.
