Massage! It was something! The masseuse, sitting on a chair, rode around me, stroking me with one hand sometimes, when I asked what this “new technology” was, she received the answer: your withers are inflamed and you can’t touch them!! I asked to change the masseuse and received a better classic massage. I would also like to note the kitchen staff who simply zealously guarded all the pots and lids, God forbid you open it and see what’s so delicious there, rude and angry girls, it was so unpleasant! I listened to so much for my money.....

I thank the Higher Powers for such a magical opportunity to spend 11 days in Karlovy Vary and the wonderful Richmond sanatorium. Everything is at a very high level: wellness treatments, SPA, thermal pool, very friendly staff. Food - excellent breakfasts, + restaurant dinners. Everything is very delicious! When booking, I indicated “windows to the forest”, and it was me who was given windows to the forest landscape :) Richmond is located on the outskirts of Karlovy Vary in a very green place. It is nice to exercise in the nearby park in the morning. Mineral drinking water is supplied to the hotel, which is very convenient. If you need to completely “reboot” your Soul and Body, then definitely go to Richmond, Karlovy Vary. So once a year, I recommend it to everyone!Answer from Spa Hotel Richmond

The hotel is beautiful, there is wonderful nature nearby, it is not crowded, half of the staff are friendly and helpful. Special thanks to the staff from the pelotherm/paraffin departments, pneumopuncture kab1, classic massage Urazaev, Tatyana and Latta, lymphatic drainage Ilyuzhakov, facial lymphatic drainage Faldusev. The guys at the bar are always cheerful with fast service. There were several helpful people in the restaurant too. The man in the white shirt who helps with luggage has a natural gift for service! He always greeted everyone politely and helped solve minor problems. These people all love their profession and they enjoy working with people - you can feel it and their energy is transferred to the hotel guests. This is very important for everyone. The service staff in the restaurant were mostly inattentive and not very friendly or warm. Some didn't speak German, English or Russian, which made communication much more difficult. The restaurant ambience did not match the stylish hotel, but had more of a canteen feel. The food selection was also quite simple and rustic; we would have liked more sophisticated variations. The Russian-speaking guests were often inconsiderate and often jostled at the buffet.

The quality of service was better before the pandemic. The staff of maids was reduced and, therefore, the maids carried out cleaning at any time convenient for them. In past years, cleaning was done during procedures. It was convenient for vacationers. There are also complaints about the placement. When booking, I indicated my wishes for the location of the room, but they were not taken into account and I received a worse room than the guests who arrived at the same time and booked the same type of room as me. When contacting the receptionist on duty, he stated that there were no other rooms and that a room could only be changed for an additional fee. The number of procedures has decreased. I liked the location of the hotel in a forest area. Wonderful air, peace, birdsong. For those who like to walk, the place is ideal. The center of Karlovy Vary is approximately 10 minutes on foot. The food was varied and tasty. Fish, different types of meat, vegetables, fruits, cereals, cottage cheese and yoghurts, cheeses - everyone could find food to their taste. Breakfast and dinner were quite enough. The procedures were quite convenient, all in one building, you can go to them right in a robe. The staff is friendly, if you say hello and smile, you will definitely receive the same in return. A mineral spring is supplied to the sanatorium, which is a definite plus. The spa and pool are of a good standard, there is a mineral water pool, a Kneipp path, and various saunas. The rooms are quite comfortable, the furniture is classic, antique, the mattresses are comfortable, cleaning or changing of towels or bathrobes is carried out on the same day at the request of vacationers. As an extra, we took an electric kettle with us, everything else is there. The support from Sanatoriums.com was also top notch.
