You have to wait a long time for elevators when moving around for procedures. In the SPA center there is no information about the baths, tepidarium, etc. what kind of facility it is and how long to stay in it, for what diseases it is recommended. Also, there are no clocks everywhere (except for the duty station) and thermometers - they should be in each of these objects. It’s a long walk to get the necessary water, since everyone has their own source, and sometimes it’s too far away; there used to be a free bus to the source and back (now it’s not there).

The food seems to be good, but after 15 days I got tired of it. The entire menu is the same. The gas bags used are made of polythene. And in this regard, in 20 minutes of the procedure, half of the gas simply evaporates. Although the site picture is different. The bag is worn only to the waist. I tried to find out why, but no one gave a clear explanation. In Marianske Lazne this procedure is carried out completely differently. The bags are tight and there are no high gas leaks. When taking a mineral bath in Marianske Lazne, you will be looked after, wrapped in a blanket, helped to sit on a special lounger, and you will rest for 30 minutes. Here they will pour water and then do whatever you want, you can of course lie on the sunbed, but it’s cold without a blanket with one sheet. There is no sensitive attention from the staff.

Some may find the remote location from the center of Karlovy Vary to be a minus. The Mill Colonnade is approximately a 15-minute walk. In fact, this is a plus, as it forces you to move more and be in the fresh air, which is very important for residents of big cities. Although you can always take the bus, the stop is right outside the gates of Richmond Park and the bus runs on time! Holidays in Richmond are contraindicated only for people with sore legs who simply do not have the physical ability to enjoy walking. Perhaps very young people, due to their age, will not have enough parties and vibrant nightlife in Karlovy Vary, but there are other vacation spots for parties.

Despite the fact that the source is located in the hotel, we were not lazy to walk to the source and managed to do everything. All procedures are done in the morning and a little after lunch, because... In the Czech Republic, the time is an hour ago, so it turns out that you don’t get up early. We got up at 6.00 (7.00 Moscow time), walked to the source, came back for breakfast and treatments. I recommend immediately creating a separate schedule for the entire period of rest and treatment (if you are together). We have compiled, based on the schedule of procedures, our own convenient schedule: the regime of ascent and visit to the source. The staff is wonderful, very friendly, 90 percent Russian speaking. Richmond Sanatorium left the most positive impressions in our hearts! Nature is fascinating. We took one jug and two cups, it was enough for two of us, it costs 40 crowns. We got a room overlooking the park; in the morning we could hear people unloading and talking very loudly, but it was to our benefit if we didn’t hear the alarm clock waking us up. And I would like to ask everyone who will be entering Richmond, if you take an iron, return it on time! It’s better to take your own travel one))) There’s a problem with that))))
