We stayed in this hotel last year. We took the maximum number of procedures, but since most of them are nothing (for example, a massage is spreading cream on the back), this time we took a package with fewer procedures. Procedures are prescribed at the time they want, without consulting the client who pays for these procedures! For some reason, I was scheduled for procedures on the day of departure at 12.30, although check-out from the room is at 11.00. Probably to not provide these procedures. I asked to reschedule the procedure for another time, they said that everything was scheduled (although this is not true, I arrived 15 minutes earlier, the office was generally closed). When I came for the procedure, they refused to perform it on me; I still didn’t understand the reason. Even contacting the director yielded nothing. Money paid, services not provided!!! Not customer focused!!! The workers do whatever they want!!! Full scoop!!! Instead of a mineral bath, I was offered coffee. Just a ruined vacation. We came not just to the hotel to drink coffee, but to the sanatorium to receive certain treatment. But as it turned out, the employees of this establishment can cancel paid procedures at their discretion, and there will be no refund in return. We really enjoyed. I think we will come back more than once. Excellent saunas, mineral pool. The food is varied and tasty. Doctor Ksenia is attentive and humorous. She prescribed the procedures we wanted. There is a spring 1b in the hotel, but very often it is much colder than it should be (50 degrees). But of course it’s convenient that you don’t have to run anywhere in the morning.Negatives
The big minus is that they allow dogs. They are left alone in the room and they bark for 30-40 minutes without stopping and prevent everyone from resting. The audibility is insane!!! You can hear absolutely everything... If you come across loud neighbors, then consider yourself unlucky. My advice: find out the situation right away. The furniture is already old, the doors in the closet do not close, they creak. (Standard room). The windows in the restaurant need to be painted... still 4*. Transfer by bus from Regensburg to Karlovy Vary. Guests pay little attention to the risk of transmission of the Corona virus. Two vaccinations are not 100% protection and immunity weakens over time. Even vaccinated people can get sick and infect other people. It would make sense to have a welcome folder or information folder in the room upon arrival. Unfortunately, a lot of information is only given upon direct request. E.g. information about the drinking cure, use of the swimming pool and the sauna. The opening times here did not match our user map. Spatial planning is also very complicated. A complete overview map in the room would be helpful. We had an apartment and only had two small multi-purpose glasses to use the minibar. A larger selection (beer and wine glasses) would make sense. We couldn't find any clarification for our problem at the hotel or a suitable contact person. Only after contacting the sanatorium could solutions be found.Answer from Spa Hotel Richmond
