We were at the hotel in September. This is the third time. We always arrive at the same time. We meet many regular guests. We met, we communicate. As always, we checked in quickly and were offered a room a class higher. Special THANK YOU for this! The room overlooks the garden, very comfortable and quiet. Cleaning every day, no complaints. Replacement of bathrobes and towels, no problem, upon request, at any time. Requests are responded to adequately. In the next room the door to the balcony creaked, the neighbor went out to smoke at night. I told the reception in the morning, and at lunchtime the technicians came and fixed everything. The food is dietary, everything is boiled, baked, steamed. Nothing spicy or fried. Just what the doctor ordered! There are treats in the form of donuts in the morning and if there is any leftover in the evening. Ice cream, a lot of cheeses, fruits, cereals, all kinds of muesli, meat, fish, poultry. You don’t get tired of it in two weeks, you can diversify. I don’t go to the bar, but there’s all sorts of alcohol there, maybe coffee. But for a fee (never in Turkey), the procedures help you relax and have a good rest. Walks in the park are a different story! I don’t understand people who stay in hotels in the city! It’s stuffy, walking around and staring at store windows; there’s enough of this goodness at home. Forest, fresh, clean air, peace and quiet, that’s what my wife and I go to the resort for. Own pool, small but enough. It’s better to come in the morning, there is no one, you swim with one or a couple more people. There are more people in the saunas only after lunch or after dinner. But not critical. There is no crowd. The hotel lives its measured, calm life. We like. We come for peace, relaxation and positivity. We are planning to come again next year!Negatives
There are a couple of points that puzzled me a little. There is a procedure called “Pilotherm” where you put hot mud under your back and wrap it in a blanket and diapers. you sweat like in a bathhouse. You get up from the couch hot, steamy, all warmed up, and your head is cold. There are 4-5 such procedures. So this is the first procedure, everything is great! And then each subsequent procedure gets colder and colder. I don’t know why, I tried to figure it out, they said that the device that heats the dirt was broken. And only one works. I have an assumption that before my arrival they are carrying out sabotage and breaking the device. And so on for three years in a row. Well, the burning question is NO UMBRELLA. They are placed at the entrance to the hotel. Accordingly, the guests are taken to their rooms, forgotten in the city, in the forest, and then they probably have to buy more. This year I managed to take one to my room. Useful. It rained two or three evenings in a row. If they put them in every room, then umbrellas would be safe and everyone could use them. Lost - pay. On the eve of my vacation, I used the online portal sanatoriums.com for booking hotels and sanatoriums. I liked everything: timely information about the sanatorium, timely booking, transfer. Everything is fast and clear. Special thanks to tour guide Lenka for a great excursion to Prague (from sanatoriums). Thank you for the wonderful organization of the holiday. This was our first time in Karlovy Vary and I hope we will now be regular guests. The Richmond **** sanatorium is located far from the noisy center of Karlovy Vary in a luxurious forested area, a calm, quiet place and also an excellent excuse to get active once again. Walk to the springs at a leisurely pace for about 20 minutes, with a brisk walk for 10 minutes. If you are too lazy to walk, you can get to the center by city bus. In the area where the sanatorium is located, there are no tourists, there is no fuss and the holiday turned out to be magnificent. From arrival to departure everything was perfect! Check-in went very quickly, the attending physician’s individual approach to our problem, treatment, food, I really liked everything! Many thanks to all the staff of the resort!Positives
The hotel is located in a park area. Beautiful building, cozy rooms. Friendly staff. Excellent food. It is a little far from the geyser springs, but this is a plus for walking :) and the hotel is supplied with water from the spring. I will be happy to come and relax in this hotel!!!Negatives

I was very surprised by the tea “from a bucket”, and not from bags for lunch and dinner. With excellent nutrition, this is dissonance. For coffee in the morning, it would also be nice to have a modern coffee machine. It would be nice if there were kettles and cups in the rooms. Lunch time from 12 to 13-30 is too short, it should be at least 2 hours. Standard rooms have hard, uncomfortable chairs.
