I was with my husband. I really liked it. The food is very tasty. The cuisine is varied. A very cozy resort. Despite the fact that the source is located in the hotel, we were not lazy to walk to the source and managed to do everything. All procedures are done in the morning and a little after lunch, because... In the Czech Republic, the time is an hour ago, so it turns out that you don’t get up early. We got up at 6.00 (7.00 Moscow time), walked to the source, came back for breakfast and treatments. I recommend immediately creating a separate schedule for the entire period of rest and treatment (if you are together). We have compiled, based on the schedule of procedures, our own convenient schedule: the regime of ascent and visit to the source. The staff is wonderful, very friendly, 90 percent Russian speaking. Richmond Sanatorium left the most positive impressions in our hearts! Nature is fascinating. We walked through the Richmond park, breathing in the fresh, clean air, bad thoughts disappeared)))), it was very calm around and the nervous system was quickly restored))))))Negatives
There are no negative aspects, but I would like to warn you. Don’t forget that upon departure you will be deducted not only for the bar and minibar, but also a tourist tax of 15 CZK per person per day, so count it and leave it so as not to miss it))))) Tea for lunch and dinner must be ordered separately. We took one jug and two cups, it was enough for two of us, it costs 40 crowns. We got a room overlooking the park; in the morning we could hear people unloading and talking very loudly, but it was to our benefit if we didn’t hear the alarm clock waking us up. And I would like to ask everyone who will be entering Richmond, if you take an iron, return it on time! It’s better to take your own travel one))) There’s a problem with that))))

The location of the hotel is very convenient, the place is quiet, there is a park around and fresh air, a source of healing water right in the hotel. It is convenient to take walks to the historical center of Karlovy Vary (10 min.) Good procedures are already included in the package, you can order more if desired. The food at the hotel is good, there is everything you need, greens and fruits (I have lived in Italy for 25 years) as well as excellent draft beer which only helps the treatment (in my opinion). Upon arrival at the doctor’s appointment, the pressure was 150/110, when leaving it was 130/90. I did not expect such a result during the week of my stay since I did not particularly adhere to the diet and rested for my own pleasure. I definitely recommend visiting the Natural Beer Baths, which are located 10 minutes away. drive from Karlovy Vary in a picturesque place, it has its own brewery, restaurant and lake where you can catch fish which will be immediately cooked for you in the tandoor. This is not our first time in Karlovy Vary, but our first time in Richmond. Our friends often stay here and have described this sanatorium very positively. In our opinion they were right. We were completely satisfied with everything. Out of caution, we do not give the most excellent ratings, because... last year we were at the “President”, and everything suited us there too. We didn’t order “President” through you because... they did not, in our opinion, live up to the commitments they made to us... In the end, we came to the conclusion that Richmond was better. Excellent hotel, in a stunning location. Air, walks, privacy. “Named” sanatorium, with history and traditions, a professional approach to balneology. Excellent treatment. Surrounded by a park and many paths along wooded hills, walks along which provide not only bodily pleasure, but also inspire reflection and a “romantic mood”: Goethe, Schiller were here... A good Spa complex. Friendly staff. All this together makes the holiday truly resort-like. It’s 15 minutes to the center if you “miss” the shop windows, shopping and crowds of holidaymakers. More recommendations than negativity. Not suitable for those who like to party. Rooms ending in 10-15 overlook the backyard and garage, which determines the morning noise, starting at 6 o'clock. This will cause displeasure among the demanding public.

Heartfelt thanks to all the staff of the sanatorium, the doctor, the treating staff, the maids, the reception staff, and the restaurant staff. EVERYTHING WAS EXCELLENT, it was a pity to leave. The hotel is excellent! Living among beautiful furnishings, antique furniture and paintings is not a miracle! We are connoisseurs of beauty! Regarding treatment; We liked the attending doctor, who prescribed everything correctly, and there were no problems changing procedures! The treatment is wonderful, the food is dietary, which is not found in every sanatorium in Karlovy Vary. The hotel has its own source of mineral water, which also made our treatment easier if we did not have time to get to the source. We cannot answer how much better this water is than the one found in the Colonnade, and the treating doctor did not answer us anything intelligible. There were no problems with wifi, it worked at a good speed, we could easily listen to our favorite music and watch movies via YouTube!Negatives
The rooms are poorly located, overlooking the courtyard, where food is delivered early and unloaded with the noise of the clock at 4 in the morning, and to top it off, a garbage collection truck arrives. People who sleep soundly should be placed in these rooms! And the cleaning was rather weak, for such a star hotel, the maids are not so zealous in cleaning. We walked barefoot on the carpet in the room, hoping that the cleaning was carried out thoroughly, we accidentally stepped on the glass in our room, to which the maid said that it was possible we brought it with shoes, but then we also found glass behind the door, and it never was vacuumed. We did not contact the administration downstairs. And the last thing is that the time allotted for lunch and dinner is too short.

Only positive impressions. The hotel has a large park area, the city is 7 minutes by bus. The room stock is excellent. Daily room cleaning, towels and bathrobes provided, promptly replaced with clean ones. Very responsive staff, everything is clear and organized. Excellent medical care.
