The food is very tasty and varied. The service staff, clearing tables, sometimes did not behave very friendly, as if we were bothering them in the restaurant and they were just waiting for us to leave and this was a little annoying. Almost all the lights were turned off and everything was cleaned completely until tea at 19:30, even if we sat inside and ate some more (we just sometimes returned after an excursion after 7 pm and we had no choice)

The restaurant's opening hours are inconvenient. We took one-day tours to Germany, which started at 7:40 am and ended around 9 pm and were left without paid breakfasts and dinners. This could have been survived if there had been a coffee maker in the room. A similar situation arose when we were leaving for the airport in the morning.

Some procedures have been reduced in time. Lack of politeness and sometimes rudeness from some of the staff, including therapists. The corner with thermal water in the pool only worked once during our two-week stay. As a wish: refresh the rooms in terms of renovation.

Overall I liked everything. Upon arrival, assistance was immediately provided with luggage; everything was explained quite clearly at the reception. We arrived on Sunday, the appointment with the doctor was only for Tuesday, but we were immediately given a couple of procedures on Monday so as not to lose a day - and this is very healthy 👍 the girls who are responsible for cleaning the rooms did their job just great 👍 there were always fresh towels, robes Bed linen was changed 2 times a week. Well done 👏. Tasty and varied food 👍 the cook girls and waiters are polite and hardworking, which cannot be said about their boss, she constantly found fault with something, was repeatedly rude 😝 happy with the procedures, special thanks to doctor Karaskova 🙏 she is very attentive to her patients. Not all therapists were polite, sometimes rude. If you are a couple of minutes late, the procedure is denied. Some procedures have been reduced in time. During our two-week stay, the thermal water pool was only open once.

Would I consider returning? Definitely not. Would I recommend this place to others? My inclination is rather towards "no". The hotel's location is certainly stunning, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding greenery and the river below. Having a cozy balcony in my room was an unforgettable feature. The room radiated coziness, the food and its variety were good, although not outstanding. The staff were polite, helpful and ready to help. However, there have been cases where senior staff have been overly domineering and rude towards both guests and their staff, sometimes hiding behind insincere smiles. The medical staff, including doctors and nurses, left a positive impression with their excellent service.Negatives
Unfortunately, this hotel does not live up to its declared four-star status. Our arrival was met with disappointment to discover that there was no shampoo or conditioner in the bathroom, leaving me unable to shower before bed. The ceiling in the bathroom was peeling and the bathtub was extremely slippery, which posed a serious danger, especially considering the resort's mostly elderly clientele. Such baths are a disaster waiting to happen. The lack of a coffee maker or electric kettle for making coffee or tea was inconvenient. My expectations regarding the massage were not justified, as during the entire prescribed 20-minute procedure, I only felt a few cold touches and touches from an indifferent massage therapist, after which I was informed that the session was over. The pool and sauna area is certainly impressive, but I couldn't enjoy it due to the shared cabins for men and women. Seeing a naked man lying on a bench, fully showing his private parts, I felt discomfort and left the place. Although there is a designated smoking area outside the hotel, some guests choose to smoke in the outdoor restaurant area, leaving no room for non-smokers to enjoy their dinner. The hotel administration shows no interest in this problem. The lack of variety of drinks for lunch and dinner is very annoying. Also, serving "Very Special Guests" in the common area of the restaurant among other customers seems wrong. If special treatment is given to certain guests, a reasonable solution would be to provide separate accommodation, especially given the extensive space available. Would I consider returning? Definitely not. Would I recommend this place to others? My inclination is rather towards "no".

I didn’t like the hotel food, the menu was monotonous, not rich, some products ran out quickly (watermelons, some types of black bread, grainy cottage cheese, etc.), most of the waiters were rude, especially the waitress named Anna, when purchasing food, the number of hotel guests is not taken into account, because... Half an hour after the dining room opened, some types of food and salads were already running out. I would also like to note the dissatisfaction with the transfer. We had a group transfer from the airport to the hotel in Karlovy Vary, it was not written there that the group transfer meant a transfer to Marianske Lazne, and after a flight delay of 7 hours, we, tired, went first to Marianske Lazne and only then to Karlovy Vary, although there were 5 guests traveling to Karlovy Vary, and 3 people to Marianske Lazne. It was necessary to write on the website that a group transfer is a trip around Marianske Lazne too, since Marianske Lazne is an hour’s drive from Karlovy Vary and this is a different city .in a word, I didn’t like the group transfer from the airport to the hotel either. a group transfer is a transfer of people living in different hotels of the same resort, and not different resort towns, and this should have been warned about in advance on the website, and presented the person with a fait accompli and extended the journey without warning .

The manager in Richmond hotel - blonde older woman is rude and disrespectful. She should be a guard in the concentration camp. Some Czech technicians are rude and disrespectful. Nobody speaks English. Those people forgot they are working because of people like me not other way around.

We did not experience any negative emotions while staying at the hotel. There are a couple of nuances that I would like to draw the attention of the owners of the sanatorium to. The Richmond Hotel's garden requires the proper care of a gardener. In old photographs it is more well-groomed, and well-groomed park terraces could decorate the hotel even more. During our stay, the mineral water pool was not working, but I hope that the pipeline repair will be fixed in the near future. The cafe and terrace close too early, and I would like to drink a cup of coffee or tea and taste a delicious cake after 10 pm after a walk around the city or park :) The early closing of the cafe did not in any way affect the overall impression of the hotel, but it is possible in the future There will be an opportunity to sit comfortably on the terrace on a warm and late summer evening.

Some days there were only two applications and both with water. I mean the tub (hydroxer and pearl bath). Personally, I would have had more treatments, e.g. paraffin, mud packs, acupuncture with CO2, hydroxer, etc. There were no treatments on Saturday. I was there for a week from Sunday to Sunday. Appointment with the doctor on Monday at 2 p.m. I expected more applications and on Saturday too.

This is our second time at this hotel. I really like everything, but there is one drawback. It is 3.5 km to the colonnade and back. And so 3 times a day......There is no time to do the procedures. Suggestion: issue bus passes like the neighboring hotel does. The choice of food is large, everything is tasty, but nothing more. There's a problem with desserts in general. 2 years ago it was different. We would like to celebrate the girl Vera in the restaurant. Especially polite and intelligent. Solve the issue of tea for lunch and dinner. Boiling water and various tea bags. We heard how many people would like green tea, but there was only black or fruit tea. The girls at the reception are very polite and will always help. The room in the bathroom is cold... but the heating is turned off, whether you think about washing or not. Often problems with water pressure...sometimes disappeared completely. Taking a shower in a bathtub without a curtain is very inconvenient....the entire floor is covered in water. It wouldn't hurt to have thinner blankets for the summer.

I really liked: - the location of the sanatorium, - its services (swimming pool, saunas, its own spring, bar, terrace...), - inexpensive parking for private cars, - catering and quality of food, - working staff in the dining room - everyone is polite and trying help - excellent receptionists, attentive and always responsive! There is only one drawback: the logistics of the return transfer were arranged in such a way that we, 80-year-old people, were on the road for 10 hours. And this despite the fact that there were no stations anywhere. Because of this, we will no longer be able to travel to Karlovy Vary.
