Excellent pool and sauna, room with access to the terrace, hotel location in a wonderful place - excellent air and water from the source right here and now. Discreet and high-quality service in the room. In the evening it would have been a bit boring if we had not consciously sought silence and solitude (this is not the place for lovers of vibrant nightlife, entertainment centers are one and a half to two km from the sanatorium).Negatives
We arrived on Saturday, but the procedures began only on Monday. At the last moment, one of the procedures was canceled and rescheduled three times, and in the end I received only one of the three (albeit with the replacement of the other two with something else). An excursion to Prague (the agency manager was right there in the sanatorium) - I was forced to refuse it because two procedures needed to be rescheduled to other days, which they refused to talk to me about. My wife went with the loss of the procedure, since it was her first trip to the Czech Republic and she really wanted to see Prague.

We really enjoyed our stay in Richmond. everything is fine, no complaints. The food was normal, we weren’t hungry. but you still need to take full board, it’s more convenient. As a wish, it would be very nice to make a bathhouse in the sanatorium.

- The procedures start too early; sometimes you have to get up at 6 am. - For several days there was construction going on on our balcony, incl. with a hammer drill. - The hotel is relatively far from the pump rooms, given the generally imposed schedule of procedures, it’s difficult to go get a drink of water before lunch. But without any fuss around.

I can only say good things, I have pleasant impressions about Richmond. In 2 weeks we became very attached to the hotel, it was so comfortable to relax. Some people don’t like the fact that it is located far from the center of Karlovy Vary, but I think that this is its main advantage. The most important thing in relaxation is silence, imagine, we woke up in the morning, there was greenery outside the window, it was quiet, a river was gurgling nearby. We actively attended procedures; the balneological center in Richmond is convenient and spacious. By the way, a very smart doctor works at the hotel; she has extensive experience in balneology. If you want quality treatment, definitely consider going to Richmond.

An excellent hotel, located away from the center, with its own source for drinking thermal water. Nearby is a park. The staff is nice, everyone is very helpful and polite. The treatment part is in the sanatorium itself, procedures are carried out on time, without queues. Before lunch, you can go through all the procedures and devote time to walks. The restaurant served delicious food, lots of meat dishes.

The opinion about the sanatorium is generally positive. I liked several things: the fact that the sanatorium building is located in a park, that there is a forest nearby, and there is no city bustle. The restaurant provided excellent food, everything you need to be happy is there - hot dishes, lots of snacks, salads, yoghurts, fruits. There is thermal water in the sanatorium itself; we never went to the springs in the morning, only in the afternoon and evening. By the way, it’s difficult to walk in the morning and get up early, but in the evening it’s very pleasant to walk to the city center. For those who prefer a quiet holiday, Richmond is quite suitable.

We stayed in a standard room. They cleaned every day and changed linen regularly. What’s interesting is that you can take any room, no matter where the windows face, it’s still quiet and clean air. A nice feature is the free swimming pool from morning to evening. The food is excellent.

The hotel is located in a forested area, the river flows under the windows. Wonderful air and silence. Some distance from drinking sources, which is compensated to some extent by the presence of a drinking source in the sanatorium itself. The ventilation in the pool could be more powerful. Gas injections are given only 3 times a week.

Convenient location a short distance from the center, where people walk around in the evening and it can be a little noisy. And a 10-15 minute walk to the springs is a pleasure. Water from the main source is supplied to the hotel. The sanatorium uses hot spring water for procedures. No language barrier. Very friendly and attentive staff. The treatment is wonderful. The procedures were prescribed in accordance with the recommendations of my attending physician and taking into account my wishes. A big plus is its own medical base. I heard that in other sanatoriums people had to go to their neighbors for treatments. I will come again if possible.
