we rested at the Richmond sanatorium for 2 weeks. I read a lot of comments and saw a lot of bad things. Almost canceled the order. But then we decided to go and check it out the hard way. So I’m writing it as it was without pretentiousness, etc. We booked a room with a balcony. Upon arrival we were given a room without a balcony. The error was corrected immediately and without issue. I also asked for hard mattresses and they moved them from room to room. The food was quite sufficient and even a bit much. In the morning there was a buffet, and lunch and dinner the main portions were optional and handed out at the counter, and everything else was again buffet. table. We have already written about coffee and juices here. It is very convenient that there is a cafe near the dining room and after dinner you can sit on the veranda, listen to music and enjoy the air with coffee or tea. We also took a kettle with us so we didn't have any problems. The treatment and the doctor were all good. We received 21 procedures. 2-3 procedures per day. The procedures were tailored to the maximum for 2 people, so we spent maximum time together. 1-2 times it happened that we had lunch or breakfast separately. Sometimes the procedure can be carried out earlier in time (depending on the type of procedure) by approaching and asking directly in the office. The staff is polite and speaks Russian and English. The pillows are SOFT and there are 2 for each person, this is not comfortable for those who usually sleep on others. Richmond is located 1.5 km from the colonnade. This was our second time at the Richmond Resort and we hope to come again. Excellent transfer organization, attentive, calm driver Frantischek. We were lucky and we also went with him back to Germany. The hotel is located in a wonderful, calm place. A beautiful, well-kept park! From the sanatorium to the center it is approximately a calm walk of 15-20 minutes on flat ground. The very nice doctor Ksenia works at the sanatorium. Smiling, positive, attentive. The sanatorium staff are polite, responsive, and try very hard to make people happy. The food is fresh, tasty and varied. Anyone who doesn't find something to eat is to blame. Lots of dietary products. Used dishes are quickly removed. Dinner starts at 17.30. And this is great, because after dinner you have time to take a walk or go to Wellness. I would like to write about it separately. Various saunas, namely eucalyptus, herbal, salt, Finnish, as well as a jacuzzi, swimming pool and thermal pool. So there is somewhere to spend time! Thermal water was supplied to the sanatorium. Those who find it difficult to go and drink water in the center of Karlovy Vary can drink it at the hotel. I would also like to thank the staff of sanatoriums.com for their attentive and very patient attitude towards clients. Health to you! Good luck! We will definitely go with you again!
