When we checked in, the room was dusty, the cobwebs were like two or three weeks old. There are lumps of dirt in the nightstand. But everything was removed. I would like to note that there is also a fair amount of dust in the doctor’s office. There are no sockets in the bathroom, no way to charge a toothbrush, no way to dry your hair with a hairdryer. The hairdryer provided by the hotel is only suitable for drying bald people. I had no luck with the room, literally, there was no sound insulation at all, you can only sleep with a pillow on your head. We woke up from the creaking of the floors and conversations going along the corridor late in the evening, early in the morning and during the day too. You can also hear the neighbors upstairs walking around. The room was completed, judging by the architecture of the first two floors, cardboard walls. I lightly knocked on the wall in the corridor, and my husband immediately came out asking what happened. The electrical distribution panel hummed like a swarm of bees. My husband, an electrical engineer, suggested that either the relay was on its last legs or the materials were cheap. Heard through a closed door, and high ceilings enhance this acoustically

We arrived late at night, hungry (the road was long). Yuri met us at the reception, friendly and welcoming. The big surprise for us was that they left a large plate of appetizers for each of us. They were waiting for us). Cheerfully and with humor, Yura showed us to our room, treated us to tea and willingly answered our questions and wishes. In general, all the staff are very responsive, but Yura made the beginning of our wonderful holiday. And subsequently we turned to Yura more than once and received 200% results. A very positive person. The room was beautiful, clean, comfortable, even better than we expected. The only thing was that the bed was soft and the pillows were very soft and thin. But this did not interfere with our rest and sleep. The hotel is located next to the forest, literally a stone's throw away. The air is crystal clear. We walked more in the forest than in Karlovy Vary. Getting to the springs was fun and interesting, about 25-30 minutes. The treatment is also at a good level, the staff tries to help if you have any requests. I remember the masseuse Gunar (if I’m not mistaken with her name), very diligent. The food is varied, satisfying and tasty. The SPA center is excellent, it has everything and even more. The only thing you have to be careful with is the jacuzzi. if you are prone to allergies, use a lot of bleach. On the day of departure, my allergies started. The medical staff applied ointment and provided medicine for the first time (here it’s her own fault, she lost her vigilance))). We are very pleased with our stay at the Richmond Resort. My husband and I have never experienced such a miserable stay. Some of the staff only spoke Russian! Although German is also advertised. Due to a lack of hygiene in the hotel (neither hand disinfection nor suitable face masks were used), we became infected with Covid and had to end our holiday early and go home sick. And, according to the people in charge at the hotel, we also had to pay a “penalty” because we left earlier. This person in charge was very arrogant and extremely unfriendly. This person showed neither apology nor understanding for our situation. And here too, only Russian was spoken. I speak Russian but my husband doesn't. And that was very rude and unpleasant to my husband the entire stay. We come from Germany and not from Russia. The food in the restaurant was canteen level. And not everything was always enough for everyone. We are disappointed, ashamed and will never spend a single day in this hotel again. We will also recommend this hotel to friends and relatives. Rather advise against it. We can spend our hard-earned money somewhere nicer. We are disappointed and sad.

I want to say that we liked everything literally in the fullest sense, upon arrival we were greeted by a security guard who indicated where we could park the car, we chose a place. We were very nicely greeted at the reception, only one minus they didn’t tell us that we could buy tickets at the reception desk, we bought them at on the bus and there the price was more expensive, if we had purchased it at the hotel it would have been half the price, we found out about this on the last day from visitors, but this is a small thing, of course, the food is generally just great, there is a lot of variety to choose from, the diet includes both fish and beef ,well, of course, the porridge is very tasty, all the staff are nice and pleasant.,Cleaning is also done every day, they will ask about replacing towels and bathrobes if necessary, and the procedures are also all on time and your wishes are taken into account, I would like to say thanks to the massage therapists as well in office 1a 1, the first office is where everyone is in their place, everything about the spa procedures is super, the saunas are always hot, and there was always enough space for everyone, even though the hotel room was very large. But there was really enough space for everyone. When we checked out, there were no problems either. We handed over the cards and wished us a safe journey. We are very pleased, I hope that we will probably come there again, now we will wait for a good offer from the Sanatorium .Com. This was our fourth time at the Kurhotel Richmond. We like the location of the hotel in the park on the river bank. The room was spacious and comfortable. The food in the restaurant was also very good. Treatments were good too. Price-performance ratio is excellent.Negatives
One small thing: The shower in our room 129 was not comfortable to use for people over 150 tall.
