They demonstrated their dissatisfaction in any way. Just what? Or by whom? This disgrace lasted for two long weeks until the restaurant director intervened and stopped the unworthy behavior of his employees. The same people, it turns out, can behave kindly and politely. I hope this was an isolated incident and it won't happen again! This is unacceptable for Richmond's reputation, which has been built up over the years.

I can safely say that the hotel is one of the best in Karlovy Vary, definitely in the top 5. Only Imperial and Pupp are cooler (but not necessarily better in all respects), maybe there are others that I’m not familiar with, but the prices there are 2-3 times higher even for the same winter period, and I’m afraid to guess in the summer. What I liked: 1) location - on the outskirts of the city, almost on the outskirts, but this is a plus, since silence, privacy, beautiful nature and walking distance go together perfectly. What surprised me was that in December birds sing around Richmond and storks fly. 2) procedures - good quality of the sanatorium fund and the work of the staff, 3) food - this is not 5* in Egypt and Turkey, where the food is 5++++, but here everything is good, tasty and the work of the staff is excellent, 4) the hotel itself beautiful, with beautiful high hills around it. 5) we were given a room of a higher category without any additional payments, we were just lucky, but according to reviews, this happens often and it’s also nice. The room was on the 3rd floor, spacious, bright, with a beautiful view of the river, there was sun all day in the room, which is very pleasing in December. 6) swimming pool and sauna complex - it alone is worth going to this hotel. We spent almost all evenings there. There are only five hotels in Karlovy Vary with such complexes and they are all expensive. 7) Of course, I liked the town itself, the excursions, the mineral waters, but that’s a different story. To sum up what has been said, we will go to Richmond again and take our parents. We talked with people at the hotel who came there 7-8 times. Guests would not return to a bad place. A few words of gratitude to the Sanatoriums project for the excellent work and attractive holiday offers. All issues were resolved by Vladislav quickly and efficiently. Thank you!

We had a couple of times when the water was turned on colder, but it cooled down quickly anyway, it became uncomfortable and you could even catch a cold. There are no more comments about the nurses. Some guests said that the quality and quantity of procedures in Marianske Lazne was better than in Karlovy Vary and specifically Richmond, but we were completely satisfied with everything. 2) A few words about life in general. In the hotel during our stay there were up to 90% Russians and Ukrainians, and, as I understood, most of them were emigrants who had long left Russia and lived in Germany, Switzerland, etc. I don’t want to generalize and talk about everyone, but I was very surprised by the number of whiners among these people - they didn’t even triple, they constantly whined - the nurses are slow for them, their rooms are poorly cleaned, they don’t like the food, the doctors are bad, it’s Putin’s fault, etc. Without the whiners, this hotel and, in general, our world would be much better, but, I understand, this is not a complaint against the hotel. Just a general wish - be a cheerful bee who sees flowers and fragrance everywhere, and not a gloomy fly who sees garbage and shit everywhere.
