It was a completely successful spa stay. We used the spa area every day to swim. The meals were varied and prepared with a lot of love. The staff were always helpful, friendly and courteous in all areas of the hotel. We were able to relax and recover. We were at the sanatorium in mid-March 2024. I liked everything very, very much. The food in the restaurant, exceptionally fresh products, variety - everything deserves the highest marks. The staff is responsive and friendly, always ready to help. We also liked the location of the hotel, a picturesque park area. Excellent hotel, in a quiet, beautiful place in Karlovy Vary, about 15-20 minutes to the Colonade at a calm pace along a straight road or by Bus 2 (tickets can be bought at the hotel for 30 CZK one way). Great staff throughout the hotel, A special big thank you to the girls in the restaurant who stood behind the hot food counter, always smiling and friendly. Also a nice swimming pool, saunas, Jacuzzi. Decent treatment. Once again, a huge thank you to all the staff at Richmond!!!Negatives

The location in the countryside, parking (€6.50 per night), cleanliness, food (we had full board) very tasty and varied, staff (parking attendant, reception, chambermaid, restaurant service to application staff) very nice. Katja and Tatjana, the waitresses from the restaurant, deserve special recognition. We also visited the wellness area every day and hope that the next time we stay, the mineral water supply will be restored and the thermal bath can be used daily. Our recommendation is that guests should be informed how to use the sauna, e.g. For example, in the Finnish sauna you put a sheet under you because some guests sit and sweat directly on the wooden boards, which is unhygienic.Negatives
Not enough hooks, storage space for bathrobes, but the loungers are often used. There are no places to rest at peak times. Unfortunately, we often see that the children don't behave, scream, cry (nothing against children, I also have children and grandchildren), but this is more likely due to the parents' poor upbringing. Such families don't belong there, relaxation is prevented by such guests. The stopover with the nurse (making an appointment to see the doctor) is unnecessary. The appointments could be made directly by reception, in the order in which they arrive at the hotel? As I said, I think it's an unnecessary waste of time and a job creation measure if you have to go to a nurse who just writes the time on the back of the application booklet. The reception already writes the number of these on it, so could they write the doctor's appointments that take place every 20 minutes directly on it?! Or that you could register for your doctor's appointment online in advance, saving time on site and more time for relaxation?! Possibly fill out an anamnesis form online in advance and make requests regarding applications if you have already been there and know what you want, which was good the last time.Negatives
