I was in the sanatorium for 2 weeks; in the first week, some employees gave me underwater massage and Charcot shower, and in the second week, others. The impression was that these were different procedures, they differed so much in duration and quality of execution. In the first week, the underwater massage lasted 5 minutes, Charcot's shower was also so-so, in the second week, the underwater massage lasted 15 minutes and was done very carefully, Charcot's shower as well. This, of course, indicates a lack of control over the activities of the staff and greatly spoiled the impression of the sanatorium. Also, in the pool, one day an employee allowed herself to shout at visitors (!!!?) when they went to swim in the pool, not noticing the sign that it was not open. I was shocked! Well, and, of course, the lack of opportunity to drink normal tea at lunch and dinner is surprising, because... It’s difficult to call what was offered from the barrel tea.

Bad employees during the bubble bath procedure. It feels like you come to their home and they are doing you a favor. I asked her to make the water warmer, she promised, but she didn’t come, so in order not to catch a cold, she had to get up in the middle of the procedure and leave. The neighbor said that she also stopped attending this procedure altogether because of the unworthy work of the staff. And one more minus, it concerns Sanatoriums com: when booking, they were promised a free excursion to Prague. Upon arrival, it turned out that it was held on Thursdays!!! This is extremely inconvenient, because each procedure is paid for and you don’t want to miss it. All the vacationers who came from other companies safely left for Prague for free on Saturday, and only we from Sanatoriums, as poor relatives, did not have this opportunity...

I am from Ukraine, for the first time I vacationed in Karlovy Vary from 07/14/2019 to 07/27/2019. I chose a sanatorium for a long time, read the reviews myself and chose Richmond and was not mistaken. The medical facilities are excellent, all the staff (doctors, nurses, housekeeping staff, cooks) are friendly. The food is varied and very tasty! Nice spa center. Especially since most guests believe that everything is included, but now they've really hit the ground running! Very nice, polite and open-minded staff. However, it is automatically assumed that all spa guests are Russian-speaking! The location of the hotel with the adjacent open park, the proximity to the springs in the spa district and the nearby public transport network is simply excellent and particularly worth mentioning.Negatives
The traditional Parkhotel RICHMOND has unfortunately abandoned and/or forgotten certain traditions. Despite signs and requests to adhere to the smoking ban, people smoke in these places! If only you would at least dispose of your "butts" afterwards and not just throw them away as usual! Signs such as Temporarily Closed or No Entry are also ignored by quite a few “recreation seekers”! Volume of personal conversations... inappropriate!

They had to go to the order receiving office a second time, which surprised them. This probably offended the large woman at the reception desk. We arrived on my birthday. Not even one word of congratulations, not to mention flowers and gifts, like in other hotels. Never before have we encountered such indifferent staff towards guests. They are not welcoming, not interested in problems. The procedures are very mediocre, the underwater massage is only 5 minutes, the nurse left the oxygen during the procedure, it was very cold, no one is interested in the condition of the patients. Как правило, мы поздравляем наших клиентов с их юбилеями, но к сожалению в день Вашего приезда персонал не уследил за этим. В случае любых претензий всегда хорошо решать сразу у нас прямо. 1/2 с балконом плюс номера с балконом, стол, стул, комфортная мягкая мебель, размер комнаты около 15 м2 + прихожая 3м2 + ванная 4м2 = размер номера около 22 м2 .
