This year there were very few massage specialists, even for money I could not take a massage course. One “specialist” had to be changed because she doesn’t have the slightest idea about classical massage! I just pinched and worked across the muscle! Which is simply not acceptable! The last 3 sessions I had were with experienced massage therapists, but they were also planning to leave Richmond for Imperial due to low salaries!

The room was not always cleaned well, the schedule of procedures was poorly chosen, it was not taken into account that I was with my disabled mother and we needed to go to breakfast together, I had to independently negotiate the postponement of several procedures in order to have time for breakfast.

For the umpteenth time we are convinced that this sanatorium is the best of the 4-star category in Karlovy Vary. The food, the treatment, the area, the staff, everything is just wonderful. This was our first time visiting the sanatoriums. com I liked everything. The transfer was convenient and everything was on time, the excursion was amazing (and this is not our first excursion to Prague). We learned a lot about Prague and did not get tired, but it was quite long. The manager answered all our questions very quickly. In general, thank you very much for the rest.

We were in Richmond for the first time, in KV for the second time (Smetana). We booked a low season room with a balcony for 16 days 3 months before arrival for 1780 euros with 3 meals a day. The first time we were by car (we are from Belarus), now we go from Belavia to Prague, there by bus (from the airport to KV in total for 13 euros for two) and in KV from the center to Richmond by bus No. 2 for 40 CZK (less than 2 euros) - also back, just got on at the KV bus station (500m from the central stop Trznice. -Check-in. 5 minutes, pay in cash You can also use euros with a krona card. -Room...It turns out there are 2 categories of rooms with a balcony (on the 3rd floor the balcony runs along all the rooms - they are cheaper, on the 4th floor each room has its own balcony - they are more expensive. Several times I heard from clients who are not in Richmond for the first time that such clients are sometimes upgraded to a free room category. We were completely satisfied with the room. - Treatment. First a nurse, in the morning a doctor (prescribes tests and procedures), then another nurse describes the procedures and that’s it, the treatment started The procedures are standard, the quality of treatment and equipment is high. The staff is professional: everything is clear and organized. -Water. The sanatorium has a 1B spring, the water of which is prescribed to everyone in the morning, so some go to the Geyser in the morning, others drink water at the sanatorium. -Food. I was very pleased with the buffet 3 times a day, and not just breakfast, as in almost all KV sanatoriums. High quality products and dishes. Everything is very tasty. Low bow to both the cooks and waiters. -Location. Of course, the distance from the center of KV and the sources matters (but as I understand it, this is compensated by the price of vouchers - sanatoriums are much worse in terms of treatment, accommodation and food, but in the center of KV they are sometimes much more expensive than Richmond) - Leisure and shopping. Dinner until 19-30 and all lights out. (We went to the pool and saunas after lunch - there were almost no people.) At least in the fall and winter. But the purchases were a success - in many stores located from Pupp to Geyser there were sales of up to 70%. By the way, there is also an exchange office, which always has the best exchange rate.. We went to drink beer at the bar of the Ambassador hotel in the center of KV - excellent draft beer at 51 kroons (2 euros) per mug - almost everywhere in KV beer is more expensive and worse. -Eviction. 2 minutes. - Conclusions. I liked the rest and treatment. Everything was at a high level. I don’t know if I’ll book Richmond again, but walking back and forth all day is annoying. I would like to be closer to the center, although I understand that such a price/quality ratio in the center will not be even close. The Royal Regent, which is similar in service, is at least 500 euros more expensive, and even then there is construction going on nearby.Negatives
I’m writing a minus only because there is such a column. At one of the dinners, river trout was served - this was the only dish that we did not try - there was not enough for everyone. Dear hoteliers, it is better not to offer dishes at all that may not be enough - less shame. Sincerely.
