This is the seventh time we have rested and received treatment at the Richmond sanatorium. This speaks for itself. Upon arrival, we immediately received completed documents, a parking space for the car right at the entrance, checked into our room, and had a delicious meal. It’s nice to know that they are already waiting for you here and everything is ready for a good rest and treatment. Attentive and experienced doctor Mrs. Podlipna, all the staff knows their stuff and there was no need to wait anywhere. At the same time, everyone is greeted with a smile. The quality of treatment is good, there is a large selection of procedures. The SPA area is very good. It was a pity that the mineral pool was not working, but this was stated when booking. This time we stayed in Suite A, which included additional free drinks for lunch and dinner and a dish from the chef for dinner. It was very tasty and pleasant. Although the assortment in the restaurant was also always large and varied. The only note that we wrote about in the last review is the lack of tablecloths in the restaurant. Currently the restaurant looks like a simple canteen. It's a pity... Many thanks also to sanatoriums.com for convenient and fast booking and complete information about the sanatoriums on the website. Unfortunately, the doctor treated was not competent to understand and prescribe the appropriate treatment or procedure for the symptom or the reason for the treatment. Procedures were ticked like on a lottery ticket, without an examination or an understandable conversation. Result was zero. The doctor with advanced age and appropriate position in the hotel had no reason to change it and order the correct procedure. Instead, she laughed at her random order and laughed at the patient about the actual reason for the treatment and misunderstood it accordingly. The impudence was then read in the final report that she still didn't understand the topic despite a clarifying conversation and gave the patient some kind of excuse that had nothing to do with the therapeutic treatment. Doctors should take their well-deserved retirement and make room for younger people.Positives

The thermal pool was only open on weekends. Often the water in the pool was cool (there were no stated degrees) to such an extent that you could catch a cold. The time spent in the Wirpool was not regulated, often the same people occupied the place and sat for 2 hours. There is no clock anywhere in the pool and in general throughout the sanatorium, It is impossible to navigate in time when attending procedures. In a room with a bath, the shower rod is located very low, it is impossible for a person above average height to take a shower (they had to wash in the shower of the pool), and the hairdryer in the bathroom has not changed since the 50s, it is simply impossible to style your hair with it.
