I booked by phone and paid within an hour, the amount was debited the next day. Nevertheless, the amount is still “reserved” in my bank statement. Since I've been back home for two weeks now and have also paid the tourist tax at the hotel, I could take that out.

Picking it up at the front door worked great, as did the return journey! They also honored my request for a room with a shower. In the hotel itself it worked immediately to give me a soft mattress for the hard bed and I was given another one for the sagging chair. I have 4 herniated discs and hard beds are poison. But the other guests also commented negatively on the mattress quality. The hotel is not recommended for older people with health problems, there are no grab bars in the cabins, I couldn't understand that.
