We visited the sanatorium for the second time from February 16 to 26. The location is the most wonderful. The very middle of Karlovy Vary. If we compare two years, this year the kitchen was more modest. I cannot help but note that communication with the reception desk this year was accompanied by unpleasant moments. If last year they unconditionally helped us in everything, then this year they delegated us to solve our issues ourselves. It left a residue. The bed sheets were changed once in 10 days, but the towels and bathrobes were not changed at all. The room was cleaned every day, there were absolutely no complaints. But cosmetics were not replenished during the entire period. The robe had a hole in the collar. The opinion of other guests indicated that, based on experience, this sanatorium still has the best medical facilities. The doctors during the procedures are very friendly and attentive. They don’t create queues, they work efficiently. If last year in 2023 we unconditionally wanted to return and returned, then this year in 2024 there was some kind of aftertaste from the administration.

We booked through the sanatorium for the first time + transfer. Everything worked out great. They always replied quickly and everything that was stated was correct, the time of the transfer was specified perfectly. The route on the way there was great. We were on the road for 7 hours from Hamm Westphalia with 3 breaks + pick up and drop off, it worked out great. But on the way back the route was so strange that it took us almost 10 hours. The driver drove great, we stopped 3 times, quickly went to the toilet and continued. We ate in the car otherwise it would probably have taken all of us 11 hours. I would like not to have such a long journey next time.

It’s worth thinking seriously and weighing the pros and cons, which option is more profitable, because paying for 40 and getting only 32 (in the case of my husband) and even listening to the indignation “what kind of package is this” is not very pleasant. Other than that, everything is great and worth it.

Somewhat outdated room furnishings. Beds/mattresses new and cleanly made. Great spa area, lots of offers for all age groups. Some of the staff were a bit unfriendly and obviously annoyed. Please and thank you seem strange, even if you as a guest use the local language. A pity
